If there were just videos of aliens or supernatural type shit that are claimed to be real; and secret technologies like teleportation / time travel, I'd go looking. But I'll stay away from a place known for housing a bunch of child molesters.

Yeah, don't Google anything or try to archive anything online. I found his channel by doing a search for information on the Dark Web on YouTube. He just happens to know what's on there. Key words and stuff like that by definition are pretty much self explanatory. You just don't need to do any further research.
 
I imagine there's a lot of Snuff there as well.

I'd like to check it out sometime and see wtf it's all about. Can't imagine what I'd find.
 
Was it the Dark Web that had that HIV/AIDS forum where the members talked about their plans to secretly transmit the disease to unknowing lovers?

I remember seeing a screenshot of the thread and it was essentially a paraphilia for them. They got off on infecting others.

There's a documentary on snuff films and most of these video connoisseurs suggest that nothing has ever been produced that makes it a true snuff film. Yet I can honestly bet the FBI will tell you otherwise. I've always felt bad (in a way) for the members of the FBI or any government branch that has to sit and watch these films. I feel like they would need some sorta mental prepping and possibly counseling for doing their job.

Snuff, by definition is commting a murder or heinous act on film with the intent to reproduce the film for monetary gain. There have been numerous filmed murders, but none of which were made with the intent to sell.

One of the more famous ones were that German guy who met some dude on a message board who wanted to die and be eaten in some sex ritual, and he obliged and managed to eat his penis with him while he was still alive until he had to end his life. That was filmed, but not meant to be sold.

Had to look them up and I realized who they were and remember seeing one of their videos back when I was in high school, just thinking about it is making me feel sick and sad.

And you shouldn't, horrible stuff can't believe people get off on this shit. During high school couple of friends and I where looking at funny videos on ebaums world when one of my friends received a link through AIM (I think not sure) and it was that video. Only saw parts of it because I was pretty much closing my eyes. Glad these sickos are in prison.

Scully sold those videos and charged people to watch live streams, his sick material is the definition of snuff and the only certified snuff I have ever heard of.
 
I know there's a bunch of young people who think the dark web is interesting and some of it probably is. There's probably people tempted to look into it, but I personally would like to warn those people of this incredibly atrocious rabbit hole. You aren't finding the genie of the lamp or the prized great sword for World of Warcraft. These are real people living with sicknesses that can potentially lead to real jail time, including having their name put on a list for the rest of their lives.

Some people are also far more sensitive to data than others. A name, a tagline, even the Cracked article could stir some problems. If you aren't mature enough to heed the warnings then stay far away as possible. I felt like saying that after realizing what's been discussed here.

Snuff films as a reference can go back to games like Rockstar's Manhunt, but it does not mean it harms someone. It isn't a dark fantasy after a while. It's something we have to get out of our society. Don't dwell on names, information on how to, or anything else. Be an adult about it.
 
I just discovered takedownmans videos on youtube about the deep web and tor, and they are really good.

I've got no purpose in going down that rabbit hole though. I have zero interest in buying drugs, weapons, counterfeit money, hacked or whatever paypal accounts, and what any other shit is on there.
 
SWIM once purchased something from a retailer on the "Darknet". SWIM had a relatively normal experience doing this transaction. SWIM is not sure they would do it again though.

I never really knew much about any of this stuff until recently when Ross Ulbricht was sentenced. Been reading a ton on it ever since and there's a lot of interesting stories out there.

a simple internet hierarchy might be:

Top layer: visible surface web - everything that everyone can see
Bottom layer. Deep web - all the stuff that is locked in some way

the surface web consists of:
  • plain html content
  • images
  • all kind of content that you can access directly from a webserver
the deep web consists of:
  • hidden web (for example content that is locked behind logins or in databases, example: everything from google next to its starting page)
  • dark net (mostly private networks like peer-2-peer (hamachi) or FTP servers, example file sharing)
  • dark web (a network that is based on different routing protocols, example: "the bad stuff")
 
i couldnt sleep last night after daisys destruction.. i had some serious temporary psychological problems. i couldnt concentrate or stop thinking about it. jesus.
 
govt is currently in the throes of it's own darkweb witch hunt. how these idiots got to these positions, I'll never know.

because I work for a living.
 
Knowing what you already can (could) just google up (two guys one hammer Dnepropetrovsk vid etc) i would not be so fast with claiming that some stories are fake/scam.
 
When I mentioned earlier in the thread that I learned all that I know about the deep web from that episode in House of Cards, I wasn't joking. I downloaded Tor after watching it and didn't really know where the hell to go from there. After watching some of these youtube videos, I decided to give it a go. And man...this really is creepy. It is hard to know what is legit or what is a scam but yeah. Browsing through a selection of automatic rifles, drugs, etc. is surreal.

I think I've seen enough.
 
On the 2spooky4me/3spooky5me videos being posted. Where are the video images from? Is that real? I'm talking about the black and white image with some creepy guy that looks like he murdered the girls in the images. Is that shit for real?

I haven't seen it mentioned in the vids unless i missed it.
