most of them are pretty unfunny from the start. when they get overused it's just you seeing them for how really awful they always were.
 
I still don't get why The Neogaf uses FHUTA as much...what are they thinking?!?! It's not even funny. Nor is some of those avatar quotes.

especially annoying when someone needs some genuine advice and is reaching out as a fellow human being for help. some people's inability to express compassion is disgusting.

it's good to overuse the me and kill it in one day so people stop using it and in the distant future it somehow becomes clever again when it really kinda isn't. I like helping with it.

Well the biggest problem is that everyone think they are some kind of comedic genius when more often than not they are anything but. I propose a new rule, if you post a joke and less than five (5) people laugh at it you get a 3 month ban.

That would clutter up threads. People would have to post "lolz" as it were, including people that normally wouldn't!

Yeah, kind of like the Australia/Austria joke that went around the OT for a little bit. I think I've seen a Konami/Capcom joke mentioned on gaming side back when I lurked over there once in awhile. Something to do originally with Castlevania, wasn't it? Then there's the moran one.
It is funny how you can definately be sure to get someone to correct you.
