I hate the Desert Eagle

its just too blocky. its also comically large. zero finesse to that gun. it always looks like a toy and quite frankly its outstayed its welcome as a staple of shooter games.

the M1 Garand can suck it, too. way overrated. i always swap that shit for a Kar 98 if i can.

so GAF, what guns do you hate using in shooters?

I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the DE after all that time I put in CS betas. That and the aug.

that's some fuckin heresy son

I hated playing Allies in DoD because of this beast.

MAC 10, Uzi, Klobb (VZ 61)...any auto weapon with massive spread as it makes the thing functionally useless in most cases.

Though the Klobb is so goddamn awful it's almost endearing. Dual wielding those things results in bullets spraying in a massive cone in front of you. Couple of them might hit your opponent.

The desert eagle was was stupid irl & games when it first released so it's even more stupid now

Somebody has never played Tomb Raider 3 :)

Edit: I hate homing weapons - no skill in just roughly pointing towards your target..

Agreed. Such an impracticable sidearm. It is just a novelty for cartels, movies and collectors.

As for it in gaming, it was the fucking worst in R6: Vegas on the 360. One shot/headshots from across the map at 100 yards like no tomorrow.

Man I miss Raven Shield the most. Every R6 since did not do it for me.

M16 is the most boring gun ever. Well, any modern assault rifle, really.

I love those stupid things for just that reason. Loved dual wielding MAC-10s in Max Payne, they don't hit anything and run out of bullets in like a second, it's so much fun!

the Deagle is boss in CS 1.6.

Don't care what it's like in real life because I'm not a gun toting hillbilly.

I love it in every game I've used it in. M1 Garand is even better, would be GOAT WWII gone if you could reload it at will.

A gaming gun shitty enough to warrant a thread is the PP-Bizon in Counter Strike Global Offensive, shit accuracy, shit damage, looks like a toy, stupid name, just awful.

edit: got carried away, misread the topic lol.

I'd have to second any fast firing gun with low damage and no accuracy. It sucks hitting something 4-7+ times and not getting a kill- even if you started shooting first, only to have them down you in one or two shots. Not too bad if you get head shots, but there's not always time o.o

There is a certain novelty to how awful they are, but only when I'm messing around with the game (anything remotely competitive multiplayer is out).

This. I don't know why but any other game that uses lasers pisses me off. It just feels like you're not even doing any damage. The only game where lasers are cool is fall out

Especially in the older games. Couldn't find anything of the laser rifle, which cut people in half on a critical hit, but electrocuting them was fun too.

Sten and Grease guns are garbage tier WW2 weapons. i dont like em one bit.

also that goofy ass Bren gun

get the hell out of here with that nonsense.

zero finesse to that gun.
Deagle in counter strike had beautiful finesse. Just the way both the recoil of the shots and the weight of the barrel are allowed to naturally act to create a calm movement as you shoot, coupled with the gameplay behind the gun which allowed an uninterrupted momentum in movement and scoring frags makes moments where the Desert Eagle shines truly magical.

I love UMP45, but most people I know seem to hate that SMG.

What game caused this?
Probably CS 1.6 where it was more expensive than the MP5 and had worse performance. CSGO's UMP is roughly the same but is a few hundred bucks cheaper.

It saves lifes on Left for Dead 2 expert runs.

Seriously, I'm pretty sure there would be jumpers from tall buildings if you couldn't one shot the infected with infinity ammo. I do prefer dual pistols though even though they feel nerfed to hell :'(

M1 Garand though, whatcha smokin? Got enough for the rest of the class?
