I hate the Desert Eagle

its just too blocky. its also comically large. zero finesse to that gun. it always looks like a toy and quite frankly its outstayed its welcome as a staple of shooter games.

the M1 Garand can suck it, too. way overrated. i always swap that shit for a Kar 98 if i can.

so GAF, what guns do you hate using in shooters?

I love counter strike so hating the DE is not an option it's like hating the AK as a rifle in a lot of games. In various version of CS especially some of the recoil heavy version this is one of the hardest guns to master easily in the top 5.

I hate the awp only gun out of any gun in any fps that I hate absolutely hate. Still whore it though suckers, jump prefire your dead.

The snatch references, my bros.

Deagle in counter strike had beautiful finesse. Just the way both the recoil of the shots and the weight of the barrel are allowed to naturally act to create a calm movement as you shoot, coupled with the gameplay behind the gun which allowed an uninterrupted momentum in movement and scoring frags makes moments where the Desert Eagle shines truly magical.

Probably CS 1.6 where it was more expensive than the MP5 and had worse performance. CSGO's UMP is roughly the same but is a few hundred bucks cheaper.
Actually I think it was MW2, where the UMP was the best all around SMG. With a good connection it was a two hit kill even at medium range; which is ridiculous for an fully automatic weapon. I think that the only other fully automatic gun in that game that was also a 2hk was the SCAR-H.

Both weapons were not nerfed, afaik. I love the SCAR, though, it's good fun in most of the games it features in.

My suggestion; I hated one body shot sniper rifles (lots of games) or overpowered burst fire weapons such as the FAMAS in MW2.

Deagle. I understand. Garand? Da fuq man? You play Medal of Honor Frontline!?

Although in CoD, I'd take the M1 Carbine over the Garand. Faster shooting and more comfortable ADS.

you are wrong.

Desert Eagle is the GOAT

Double-barrel shotguns. They are praised as super-cool, but they are usually very inaccurate, does almost no damage at range, only 2 bullets and reloading takes forever.

On topic of deagles, it can save lifes:

LMGs almost always lose their identity in onliine games. The whole point is the large ammo box, don't go dumbing down the damage to compensate or "balance" (I fucking hate that word), those things have assault rifle damage capabilities.

It's clear to me that you've never used this badboy:

Resident Evil 2's magnum and custom magnum were great. They were like super handguns.

In MW2 I realized the first bullet shot from LMG's was always on point so I started using it as my sniper rifle (didnt even need a scope). It was my GOAT until it was nerfed not even a week later.

Agree with you on the M1 Garand statement. Such a weak, boring sounding, overused weapon. Much prefer every other WW2 game weapon.

Deagle though i enjoy the novelty of the weapon.

They were pretty well respected in MW2 actually; come to think about it the RPD was also a one/two shot kill and had a ridiculous fire rate.

Weak? What?

Maybe games screw it up, especially sound, but that 30-06 would take an arm off, or blow a ballistics hole in a chest the size of a grapefruit.

And it is "overused" because that is what the allied forces mostly used for infantry, or also Springfield's when the Colt M1 was supply constrained.

Such a beautiful rifle.

The problem is game designers are rarely willing to fully implement the actual drawback of the weapon: recoil and weight.

It's an ideal camping weapon but everybody hates campers.

That *PING* when the M1 Garand goes through its last round alone made me love it (in games, where the volume of the ping is supposedly greatly exaggerated).

Oh I did not mean weak in terms of real life application, pretty much every game ignores the actual damage that a weapon can produce. I mean in most games the gun is weak when compared to other starting weapons ( Due to it usually being either a low level/starter weapon in multiplayer and campaign), plus i've never liked the sound of the weapon and most games never really capture it that well

Except i loved it in BFBC2 where the weapon was like a 2 shot kill on hardcore

Yea I never like the desert eagle in games. It's ugly and usually has poor feedback/weapon sounds. M1 garand is awesome though...idk what you're on about there.

The AK-47 in Uncharted 2. Such a downgrade from the FAL, I was always pissed when they gave it back to Nathan after I picked up a better rifle.

whenever I played WW2 games I picked up the first MP40 (or StG 44, but that was usually latter in the game) and only used that one

well maybe a riffle as backup and for targets further away

never really been a fan of shotguns, the halo one was okay I guess, but always preferred SMGs or Assault Riffles

I like the AWP

Laser guns in recent cod games.

Pretty much all guns that I have to hold (lock for an extended period) on you to kill you (healing or repair, since you have to use the same mechanic, I can live with). I just want to shoot you and be on to seeking the next target.
