DiskWarrior can't bring a dead HD back to life. It can tell you when you should get ready to replace it though.

I just mentioned my shiny stack of Seagates because they're so pretty to look at. Three of them (And the fifth) came out of LaCie HD's by the way.

I have since stopped buying LaCie, BTW. Once I noticed the trend.

the one for my mac is white and has a light under it.

my black one lights up orange around the whole thing when its on.

If we're talking now about HD's that aren't dead then I still have one Porsche left. It's silver with an orange LED and a horrible on/off button that sucks in comparison to the early Porsche's that had physical rocker switches.

And two Western Digital 1TB MyBook's for backup and media. Oh and my original MacBook's HD is in an external clear laptop sized case I got off NewEgg for $20.
