Well so I wasn't paying attention, missed the turn into the complex and tried to go for it too late in the game. Lost a bit of control and hit the bushes to the left of the driveway.

I went to my house and closed the garage door. Cringed at the damage to my bumper but okay whatever I can deal with that later.

What do I need to do to make sure I don't get charged with some kind of hit and run? Do I leave a note?

Pray that nobody saw?

I knocked over one tree and one transformer was on its side.

If I was in your position, I'd be awfully tempted to pretend like nothing happened.

But if there's noticeable damage to your vehicle, secrecy is no-go. Blame it on illegal immigrants and/or hippies. I prefer satanists as my go-to scapegoats, though.

I wasn't drinking. I was just tired and not paying attention to where to turn. I've had an off night and this just kind of capped everything off nicely.

I went back to the scene and cleaned up the bushes, rearranged them. You can definitely tell if you're LOOKING for the damage.

If not the bushes cover the transformer.

Ok we can spin this in a good way, As you were casually driving back home with a tranny hooker in your car, she surprised you by stating that she requires a tip of no less than 50%. While you were explaining to her that you do not tip hookers you saw that on top of the transformer near your house was a raptor. Being the honorable citizen that you are, you attempted to subdue the raptor by hitting it with your car. Unfortunately the raptor was clever, she barrel rolled to avoid the car, and you realized your car was stuck in the transformer. This raptor was not done however she ripped the tree from the ground and smacked you over the head and proceeded to steal your tranny hooker. Once you regained consciousness you decided that you would never again attempt to teach hookers about tipping.

Honesty is the best policy, just tell the truth and you'll have nothing to worry about.

It was a little mini power transformer. About 6 inches by 3 inches. Bent over but not snapped, so possibly still functional.

I'm not following. Is this a three-dimensional object or just two-dimensional? It it is just two-dimensional, it was probably just a shadow, so don't worry about it.

I think if it was just a bush you'd have nothing to worry about, but since you hit a transformer you should probably notify management or something. That could fuck up someone's power or be dangerous if it's exposed.

The transformer was a little box... Maybe it controlled the sprinklers? Held up by two small metal poles that were bent. I would take pictures but I'm about to go to bed and try to sleep off this horrible feeling.

Anyways, you'll be fine, as long as you just tell the truth tomorrow. These things happen all the time.

That sounds like a cable TV thing? Perhaps sprinklers?

Whatever. This is not a big deal. Don't let it freak you out. Sleep fine. At worst this is just a cheap fix of whatever. But it is probably fine as is. No harm, no foul. Get some sleep and assess the situation tomorrow.
