i just ate raw chicken for no particular reason

Out of curiousity, why is undercooked/raw beef edible but not undercooked/raw pork and chicken.

With something like a steak, the outside of it's the only thing that's contaminated with bacteria/bad stuff, so you can just sear the outside and have it be rare in the middle.
 
Also, I remember the food poisoning I got. I think it was from a bad pack of Salted Nuts. Spent 5-6 hours under the shower. Thought I was going to die and the pain was like shards of glass passing through my digestive tract.
 
First thing I think when I read these kinds of threads is the OP is just lying for notoriety. Reading some of the OP's replies though.....

Definitely talk to people before you start to go down this road again.

I can tell you that salvation lies not in raw chicken, but within the self. I'm guessing if you get the hang of meditation, it might help balance things more than anti-depressants.
 
If you survive this without even an ounce of gastrointestinal discomfort, you either ate the cleanest chicken on earth or have the stomach of a goddamn goat.
 
It's pretty disturbing most people in this thread want to see you suffer just for entertainment of their own. Although I kinda feel the same, the mind is a strange thing.
 
I once went to Shimane in western Japan, and their specialty is raw poultry meat, which they eat like sushi.

It tasted pretty good.

I was honestly surprised..

Would never try this at home though..
 
my friend fed his dogs raw chicken with skin cause he said it will make them buff and they got the squirts so he stopped doing it. i get squirts from everything so i dont think ill be trying raw chicken

You're friend probably did something wrong.

Raw food is best for dogs.

I give them 1 whole chicken a day and after a few weeks raw pork, then next, raw beef, then back to chicken.

Haven't heard something bad about it from my raw feeding group.

For chicken it is largely due to the different ways in which their carcasses are processed.

Beef is usually split into sides and quarters and sent to be broken down at a separate location. So any bacterial contamination from the slaughtering is only on the outsides of the very large primals.

Chicken (at least on the industrial scale) on the other hand is broken down more in an assembly line fashion, where they do all the steps at once, which leads to more contamination.

For pork it's different. Raw pork is unsafe to eat because pork can contain a parasite that can infect humans. Muscle tissue in most animals is normally sterile of bacteria, if you have live bacteria in your muscle or blood you have sepsis and are very sick, but parasites can infest muscle tissue without noticeable symptoms..
