What exactly constitutes "smashing" a girl's cheeks "around" your dick? Slapping her cheeks with your skinny mini makes sense, or perhaps grinding, but I'm not sure what you mean here. Please, explicate in plain English.
 
That's weird about that? That's like the most vanilla thing I've ever done.

Asking for permission to smash ass cheeks would have been a little bit more creative but it wouldn't allow her to sleep so it's impossible.
 
I've asked my wife if I could do this. Not asleep, but just her naked, watching TV or something.

Just to have an on-topic response. This is tame, asking to "smash" in between her ass cheeks wouldn't have been that big of a deal but that would have stopped her from sleeping I'd assume.

I honestly have trouble believing it too; but what the hell, here is an article that views somophilia as a pseudo-necrophillic act. As was mentioned, it is a slippery slope to bridge what the OP describes with the following conditions but I would argue that it could be seen as involentary consent if the approval is given while exausted.
In 2009, Dr Anil Aggrawal (Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, India) published an interesting paper on necrophilia (i.e., a person obtaining sexual gratification by viewing or having sexual contact and/or intercourse with a corpse) in the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine. As I mentioned in a previous blog on a new typology of zoophilia, Aggrawal has been writing about various paraphilic behaviours for over a decade and has carved out a productive niche in creating new paraphilic taxonomies. His 2009 paper outlined a new classification of necrophilia that I thought I would take a more detailed look at as I only mentioned it in passing in my previous blog on ncrophiles. Further expansion of the new necrophiliac typology can also be found in Dr. Aggrawal’s latest book Necrophilia: Forensic and Medico-legal Aspects (published in 2011). As with Aggrawal’s classification of zoophilia, his new classification of necrophilia also contains ten different types (Classes I to X) and is closely related to his zoophilia typology.

Class I necrophiliacs: This type comprises role players who according to Aggrawal are only mildly pathological and could be described as engaging in simulated and/or symbolic necrophilia. These individuals never have sex with dead people, but get very sexual aroused when having sex with someone pretending to be dead (i.e., sexual role play). Some paraphilia experts such as Shaffer and Penn (2006) described such acts as pseudonecrophilia. Again, what a person does, in privacy with loved ones, ought not be the business of the internet. Seems pervy but that is my opinion: through the lens of repressed sexuality in puritanical America. There are some fucked up people out there and I'd hate to think they were getting off reading this thread.

Makes me wonder if the "types" that are into this sort of thing also wrote on their sleeping friends or just messed with them; and, I am not drawing some false parallel, just curious.

Guys, is it weird if I do this when I'm outside the window looking in on my gf? She technically isn't aware, but that may well be the case in instances similar to the OP's, where the gf is asleep.

I woke up the other day to my wife riding me. Was weird because she never usually has that high a drive that she gets a sudden uncontrollable urge, but on this occasion she said she woke up horny, saw my sleep-induced morning glory and couldn't help herself. She said she had to go for it there and then.

Felt good. Pleasant surprise when I woke, and its so stimulating being underway already, especially when she's going for it like she was. Plus one of my favourite things is when women are obviously turned on rather than just responding to a man's urges or fulfilling a relationship obligation.
