The same issues have been reported by many users here as well as other places. It may not be universal. Maybe particular batches. But this type of post is bullshit.

I really wish that the xbox elite controllers sells bucketloads so Sony can produce a high-end controller.

Also fix the original controllers!

Within 3 months I had a peeling stick, my bro had a struck trigger. Within 1 day my headset stopped working. In my experience the quality is just trash. Combine that with really bad battery life and it's all unjustifiable to me personally

I've had four PS4 controllers since 2013 and, so far, nothing negative has happened to my controllers other than the thumb sticks peeling slightly.

I must be in the minority.

This is purely an assumption on my part but since you own 4 controllers, I assume that your playtime is spread out across different controllers? If all that time was spent on one controller the probability of having issues would be increased, no?
