Damn you gaf, Everytime I have to choose between Vita and Xbox One for next year, my preference is usually shifting towards the One with all the deals then someone reminds me about the backlog of AAA and the awesome indies coming for the Vita

Only thing that worries me out the Vita is the memory card price, If i stick with physical copies (which I prefer anyway), do I have to spend much on the cards?

Not really, if you're mostly using it for indies and patches then a 16gb card should be fine, you may even be able to get one of those bundled with the Vita.

However if you're likely to end up buying several of the bigger PS1, PSP, and Vita games you can't get on a cart (like FF X-2) then a bigger memory card would be better and they cost more.

Welcome!

As others have probably said, a 64 gb card is a great investment and PS Plus is a must if you haven't got it already.

How many of you guys are needed to join the Vita family to convince Rockstar to make a GTA for the system? Cause it took only 3 million worldwide for PSP.

I've bought myself a Vita(OLED) these days too and a 32gb memory card:D

Got the PS+ games, RE2, RE3, Bust a Move 4 for my mom(LOL) and Soul Sacrifice Delta.

A friend is going to the USA today and I asked him to buy me a Hori Hardcase and a screen protector.

I almost bought Freedom Wars but thought it would be redundant since I got SSD, planning to buy Danganronpa asap even though I have no idea what the game is about, someone told me that if I enjoyed the Zero Escape games I would also enjoy Danganronpa, is that right?

Yeah id agree with that story-wise, but the gameplay is quite different though if that was a big part of your enjoyment of ZE.

get battle of z, best DB game in a long time to me (xenoverse looks like another good one). games is a good pick up and go and the whole different stories is so good. also toukiden, dipped sometime and it is good.

That remind's me that I really need to change my 4gb memory card -_-
Was short on money when I bought my Vita (at launch) .

Anyway I think the Vita is a great portable system , perfect for me who like Japanese and niche games .

And OP need to play Danganronpa and Ys: Memories of Celceta
Oh and Demon Gaze is pretty good too if you like dungeon crawler

Welcome aboard OP!
People may complain about the lack of games but I am perfectly fine with the indies and Japenese games we get for it

I got a Vita in the summer (well, the missus bought it for me). I was quite surprised by how good the OLED screen is.

I like it. But I do like Japanese games and big tits.... so... yeah.

Congrats man! Welcome to the family :D

Why am i not surprised that was the first porst? :p

Congrats OP and be sure to check some PS1 classics as well.I downloaded the first Spyro game some months ago and my jaw dropped at how great it looked on my Vita screen. It almost looked as a remaster.

I regret to say my vita is just used to play games during business travel. There isn't many great games that I enjoy on it. I need to try the ps4 streaming though.

Any feedback on streaming destiny, lou:r, lords or mordor?

If the game has a good story, interesting gameplay and isn't 90% fanservice then I'll probably enjoy it. Is there a demo or something?

Welcome OP

1)Gravity rush , persona 4 golden are necessary

2)Choose between :
-soul sacrifice delta
-toukiden
-freedom wars
2bis) OPTIONNAL : get muramasa rebirth

3) 32 or 64gb memory card are necessary if you go digital ( it will fill faster than you can think ), if you plan to go retail , then 16gb or 8gb are enough
4) get PS+
5) enjoy , it's a great device.

Will do I got FW and I got some last month and this month psn plus freebies!
I think that's as likely as the last guardian being there. :(
Xseed localized CP1 and book of shadows I think it's possible via digital release.

Binding of Isaac is really fun to play on vita, check it out
Gotta try it out looks insane I have no idea what the game is lol

I already own a Vita, but I plan on getting a PSTV along with Freedom Wars soon. It'll be really nice being able to play P4G on my TV.

Welcome to the Family! I strongly recommend 16GB/32GB/64GB Memory Card because it's already a trend for publishers to only localize a game digitally here in the US and to carry all of that PS+ goodness.

Congrats on the new purchase! I love my Vita.

Ridiculous amount of good games on this thing - I'd echo people's recommendation to invest in a 64GB card, you will not regret it.

Congrats on getting a OLED Vita man :D! Your OLED Vita looks amazing :'); enjoy your system man :).

I've been making lots of recommendations for a while now, so here are a few posts I made regarding games for the Vita :D.

If you fit with any of the above, then jump right in and love your Vita man :D!

My recommendations include the following:
- Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment
- Persona 4 Golden (I'm sure someone mention this already, but still XD!)
- Sonic Racing Transformed
- Velocity X2
- Persona 3 Portable
- Gucamelee
- Tearaway
- Gravity Rush
- Killzone Mercenary
- Dragons Crown

Hope this helps and you love your Vita :).

Best family to be in!

not really that 32gb card is too damn expensive still hasn't bought mine goddamn

I was gonna sell my Vita but I decided to hold onto it longer for Sly Cooper and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

The handheld has tons of potential, just wish Sony treated it better. :/

It wasn't Sony's fault, it was western third parties. They ignored like it was a piece of crap technology. They still do, and now I have to play a Burnout Vita in my dreams.

I'm about halfway through FFXHD on Vita and it really is a top-notch remake.

Yup. I started it on PS3, then bought the Vita version for a 2 week holiday I took to the US East coast. Played about 10 hours and it really is amazing how good it looks and runs. Cross save w/ PS3 works awesome too.

I was thinking of getting one just for all the Indie games I love. But I never go anywhere and my friend thinks I'd be silly to get one just to use at home. Especially since the games I want to play on it I already have or can get on my computer or Wii U.
