I just made my first purchase at First4figures

I have a friend who's barely eking it by and spending all his money on 300 dollar figures, too. He just doesn't care, and I find it increasingly hard to muster up anything to tell him otherwise, although I have in the past.

For some people, anime figures are life. That being said, I've bought my own figures, but never something on that level. I probably only have like four total from the last 10 years.

These kinds of figs make for nice admiration pictures though:
Why would any adult buy these?

I bet he has gigabytes of child porn on his computer.

That's a dumb looking hill, there.

OP, I was once like you. I'd get paid in cash for one of my first jobs and drop an enormous amount of it on DVDs in the mall where I worked.

I could've and should've been saving that money for something valuable.

Don't make the same mistakes. Get on top of your finances, and put off your wants while you focus on having a buffer to support your needs. Once you get your money right, then you can go back to the fun shit.

I nearly bought that Ammy statue a few times. The shipping costs kills it for me. That $80 puts it over into nope region.

I, too, find artistic representations of one's favorite fictional characters to be morally repugnant and an indicator of pedophilia and child abuse.

Why is this even legal?

Eh, while I don't agree with that other poster but the one you posted isn't exactly on the same level as young looking, scantily clad girls.

Those pre-paid cards are used by a lot of scammers to authorize a payment of an expensive pre-order hoping the auth will only be a dollar or two; then hope the item is processed at sent out before the actual charge is made and decline is noticed.

Not saying the OP is doing this, but thats usually why people use those things for expensive stuff.

Also, people use them because their credit sucks/are in legal trouble/banned from banks because of fraud so they just reload those card at stores using the cash they keep under the bed.

Again, not saying OP does this but its extremely common.

Also, hackers/scalpers/scammers use them so they can't be traced easily.

Again, not saying the OP is doing that, but it happens more often than not in the toy collecting community.
