I know McDonalds is junk food, but...

I would argue that McDonalds new chicken sandwiches are fucking phenomenal, and the Big Mac has a special place in my arteries. Love it /shrug
 
mcdonalds made me a fat kid (well technically my parents) and it was cooler to talk shit about them when i was a teenager because super size me had come out and etc. that being said, i realized in my 20s that why would i give a fuck, i can either eat there or not eat there and if i get fat it is now on me

and i love a few things about mcdonalds. i hardly ever go there but:

whenever i travel i get a sausage egg and cheese biscuit at the departing airport, because i love that breakfast sandwich goddamn
i love their basic cheeseburger
and i love their fries and will hear no words spoken against their majesty
 
They're okay, I worked for them for a few years when I was much younger. Once in a while I get a craving for a Big Mac and man, it tastes so damn good. My stomach doesn't get upset usually so I can eat whatever. So I feel ya.
 
I'm a Wendy's man, but McDonald's Dollar Menu is a cheap and convenient way to eat. But the real prize is their breakfast menu. McDonald's breakfast is a way of life.

I don't have any particular love for their traditional lunch offerings. I'd take Wendy's or BK over McDonald's burgers any time.
 
I feel you OP. The best time to eat McDonalds is near bedtime. You don't get the sugar crash, just the lethargy, which is perfectly acceptable for night night. And it's so processed already that your stomach doesn't have to do much work.

It's also decent hangover food as it won't get your stomach working too hard.
 
I won't call it food. It's garbage. Used to eat there all the time. Never again. My taste buds have moved on. It tastes like filth to me now.

This is the truth. McDonalds is not fine dining, it's low tier fast food, but man if I don't get an itch for it every now and then
 
I don't very often at all because of my healthy eating habits, but don't get it twisted MCdouble's and their fries will always be crack. I actually like their "new" touch screen server type dine in experience, even though it shows robots are clearly replacing cashiers there.
 
When McDonald's is good it's pretty fucking good. When you get that old burger and soggy fries it's like "why am I doing this to myself?!"

Those are pre-packaged cookies you could probably just buy off store shelves you just have to find out what brand it is. They then just heat them up.
 
Mcdonalds' artisan grilled chicken sandwich is amazing. I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but its on the same level as chick fil a's grilled chicken sandwich.

But I have it once a month; I'm still scared of it since the Super Size Me movie.
 
Yo, no joke, I just had the best McDouble of all time. Shit was fresh as fuck. Reaffirmed my commitment to garbage food.

same in germany...at least for my taste.

I eat that shit like 2 times a month when i return home extremely late from work and don't want to cook anything.
 
I prefer Wendy's over McDonald's any day. For those outside the US, is Wendy's popular? I hardly ever see it mentioned internationally. I would imagine not because they don't seem to have many locations here in the US. There's barely any in NYC.
 
To be honest I've never understood why people like McDonalds, KFC, Burger King etc so much. The food just seems like ultra processed garbage. Lord knows what ingredients are used.

Man, if BK here would only do one thing, toast their buns, they would actually be ok. As it is, their burgers turn into a sloppy mess as soon as they are assembled.. :\

BK fries can suck it. Actually finding a BK in the UK is a tough deal too, and I live in London ;___;.

Burger wise BK has a much better non-breakfast offering, gimme dat Bacon Double XL over a Big Tasty any day of the week, but McD fries fresh out of the vat and suitably salted are a god send
