So I am European but living in the US. And as gaffers know tipping culture is quite different in the US compared to most other places.
But what I have found is that I quite like to give tips. It makes me feel like a big man when I give a generous tip. Tipping flows quite naturally and elegantly here while in Europe it is kinda awkward because it is not so much part of the culture - at least not in Northern Europe.
Disclaimer: I am at a conference in Washington DC, quite drunk already and the bartender is batting her eyelashes at me.
