I know people love Crash and Jack but this is peak ND for me. Uncharted is by far their best series IMO, and TLOU 1 is god tier (I still like TLOU 2 a lot despite having a lot of issues with it but it's not 1). Sony studios were just on another level during the PS3 generation.

ND used to be special IMO, but the industry has easily passed them by. No amount of window dressing can cover up their lackluster gameplay mechanics and gameplay design. They're stuck in the PS3 era and they don't have the talent to make something with actual innovative gameplay.

PS3 era Naughty Dog was epic. I really liked TLOU2. But I am skeptical of Intergalactic. Naughty Dog hasn't put anything out but that trailer in years. I don't have a lot of faith when dev's start taking more than 5 years to create new games.

They just improved the formula that was made under Straley. But most importantly Straley prevented Druckmann to put his shitty revenge story into TOU1.

Which he eventually did in TLOU2 once Straley left.

Hey, hey. For the record, I've been a Naughty Dog hater since before it was cool (and by cool, I mean the chunk of GAF that charges like a bull at anything that could be remotely construed as 'woke').

The last game of theirs I enjoyed without qualification is Jak & Daxter on the PS2. I'm just not a fan of the faux-cinematic direction they took their games, with gameplay loops that I'm just not interested in.
