I need boxes! System boxes!

Well at the end of this year I'm going to move all my gaming shit hidin in my closet and put it in storage and away in my garage.

Thing is I'm missing a lot of the boxes for the systems for some reason and it would be easy to just put them in their own boxes then the big storage boxes.

So if you have any of these please PM me or something and we can figure something out.

-SNES box
-N64 box
-Neo Geo Pocket Color box(blue)

Yeah and I need boxes for most of my N64 games. Its probably not going to happen though. People hang to this shit like... well, whatever.

your best bet is to buy crappy old systems from people who still have the box from Ebay. The only problem: Most people with crappy old systems don't have the box.

thanks :lol

I just put my black GC back in its box yesterday after having it sitting on my floor collecting dust for 4 years. spooky. I keep all my consoles and original boxes. The PS1 and N64 are taking up valuable shelf space but nostalgia is too strong to throw them away.

Okay, takin the black gamecube box of the list.

1st GAF Helper - BoxKicker2Turbo!

Come on. Who else wants to be in the GAF Helper club?

When I was little, while every boy was out stealing bike parts, I was at the clubhouse building a fort. All these years paid off!!! I don't think there is anything you want though.

Best collection of systems I've ever seen award by the way easily goes to Kadey btw.

Ewww. I like you, Ant, but...

this reminds me that I need to go out and find all my old system/game boxes before I move, every CD/DVD based game I have organized, but the only boxes I can find are my OoT and MM box which are on my computer desk and my Captain Skyhawk box which is on my NES. This is gonna be a pain.

Not to sort of hijack your topic or anything, but what's a good place to find boxes and manuals for older games rather than systems? Ebay is alright, but usually people are selling the games complete rather than without the carts, and the prices for the complete games can reach absurd levels.

Type in the system and box lot and you usually get some nice matches in Ebay. Don't know where else though, although I think i found a site or seller on ebay who just sold boxes. Not sure bout manuals.

I count 6 Gamecube's, 5 PS2's, 3 Xbox's, 2 360's and a countless number of handhelds and classic consoles plus one of PS3 and Wii!

How the hell were you able to spend so much on all those!? It's very impressive.

Wha?? Willing to get rid of it?

Check local used game stores. One that is about 10 minutes from me sells SNES systems for about $20 and N64 systems for about $25, and they come with the boxes (they even have NES systems with boxes). Not sure about Neo Geo Pocket Color. Try similar stores in your area (assuming you don't mind buy the systems as well)

No place exists in South Florida :( (Gamespots don't sell any of the stuff anymore down here)

Really? I just did a search on yellowbook.com for Miami and saw 3 (non-EB Games) stores that should sell used video games: 3-D Video Games Corp, Multi-Vest Video Games, Unlimited Video & Games.

I can understand wanting to keep the boxes. I used to have the boxes for most of my N64 games until my dad threw them out several years ago. I have made sure to keep the boxes of all my systems and games for the last few years though (I would even keep the boxes when I traded in GBA games).

Hmmm, miami is about an hour drive from where I am but I am going there Saturday for Rock The Bells and I might stop at those places then. Thanks for the heads up.

Off topic, but some may consider this sacrilege. Every music CD, DVD, PC game, and console disk I own are all in paper sleeves. I threw ALL my covers away in a mad surge of space optimization. Now my entire collection resides in one large drawer, instead of several book cases.

I have issues with people taking up room with empty boxes. I don't care if someday they might be worth something - my living space is more valuable to me.

I just traded in my N64 w/box to a Mom n' Pop just a few weeks back. I still have my NES and SNES boxes though. Problem is that I threw away the styrofoam inserts a long time ago in order to hang the boxes on the wall and store stuff in them when I moved. Wish I had kept them but I was a dumb kid.

I've always liked boxes
