I really hate the sound of the wind

So here I am in bed listening to the freaking storm that occurs outside and that made me realise how much I hate the sound of it.

There is something about it that is just scary and powerful.

And maybe it's just me going crazy but I swear sometimes I hear voices in the wind too.

Sometimes a really fierce wind can be very intimidating, especially when you live around a lot of very tall trees like I do. More often than not, though, I find it extremely comforting, provided I'm indoors with a warm drink and a good book. :)

It's really soothing for me to hear the wind bellowing outside. Bonus points if it's going apeshit insane. Get some headphones out and listen to something while you're in bed OP.

I love the wind.

I've been kept awake the last couple of days by a storm. Took the power too, so everything was dark and silent except for the wind, amplified and distorted through the vents in my windows. I think it's kinda cosy, but not when you're trying to sleep and something loose on the roof is banging away, and trees outside are breaking in two.

That's to bad op. Wind is so awesome! Especially on chilly fall days when I'm outside in warm clothes.

However it sucks When I have a hat on or something and my ears create a vacuum. Then wind annoys me. I also think voices can be heard...

yeah how can people not love the wind, when it gets strong is cool, but that doesn't happen often, is usually just something soothing, is awesome.

Wind is the worst type of weather by far. I hate it. Everytime I'm walking it always seems to be coming towards me too just to spite me. I like the sound of it indoors but I hate when it constantly fucks with my hair and just keeps pushing me as I walk. Fuck the wind.

They turned out fine. The full video is on youtube they do a few more tumbles and then form back into a line at the end. It's cute but I felt bad.

I love sleeping inside when it is windy or raining - I even sleep better. I even downloaded the Rainy Mood MP3 once. to play when I had problems sleeping - although it did not work. It is not real enough dammit!

My wife is one of those worry warts that freak out when the wind gets above 40mph. She can't sleep and constantly looks out the window. I love it and sleep right through it.

(put these words on my tombstone when I am killed by a tree)

Maybe your wife is looking for her bf who is supposed to come over when it gets really windy and do harm to you so they can be together forever?

Ever think of that?

I hear you OP, wind is infuriating to me. I just get pissed off and in a shitty mood. Popcorn popping, some ways people type and certain keyboards, yappy dogs and whining kids also get on my nerves (though the kids thing is probably because I have three that whine all the time lol).

I'm also sensitive to electronics noise coming from power lines (to me is a constant low pitch humming) and electronics in the home (computers, TVs, etc. give off a very high pitch sound).

The blackout here a few years ago was amazing. I got to experience a world without electrical noise. It was liberating.
