Had this the other day, it was delicious. I fucking love dark chocolate.

If you think Hershey's is as good as it gets, then I truly feel sorry for you.

Dark is way better but some things like Reese's or M&Ms taste worse with dark.

I ate a whole one of these once. I was constipated for a week.(it was worth it)
I had this once. One of my favorites now. It's so smooth and fatty.

Hershey's is cheap chocolate, but as far as cheap chocolate goes, it's one of the best options. I can't hate on a Hershey bar, regardless of the fact there is wayyy better stuff out there.

The really cheap off-brand crap that is sold in Dollar Stores and the like makes Hershey's seem like a godsend.

Just gonna preemptively say that Hershey's bars are fuckin' great and all you pretentious "oh, European chocolate is far superior mmm [sips teacup]" snobs can go preach elsewhere

I live in NY and Hershey's is bottom tier chocolate.

Edit: I was talking about their plan bar...their cookies and cream and candy cane noted below and pretty damn tasty.

Oh god, this is the absolute worst :

Nah, this is their best:

You know what sucks? I also agree this is the best tasting bar, but ever since I was little it would give me a migraine shortly after consumption. Even still I give one another try every couple years or so, but unfortunately I always get the accompanying headache :(

Uh no. I'm American and still eat Hershey's Milk Chocolate but it is clearly cheap chocolate. It uses low amounts of the quality stuff.

What's your point? I'm not looking for the highest cocoa content, I'm looking for the best chocolate bar. Hershey's is a damn good bar with a unique, enjoyable flavor and texture. It has layers of nostalgia woven into the experience for almost every American boy and girl while we're at it. That dictates quality, not some snobbish number assignment about how much ground bean they put in the thing.

I understand prefering something else, but if you're saying milk or white chocolate is gross you're either trying too hard or lying to yourself.

just give me a nice big crunch bar and im satisfied

the only time i'll eat hershey bars is if i'm making smores.

My nostalgia is better than yours

I purposely ate a Hershey bar when I rewateched that episode but it's still weak

Wow, I didn't know Gaf was anti-milk chocolate. I'll eat dark but I definitely prefer milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is like black coffee without sugar.

Get into my favorite snack to sneak into movie theaters: Dark chocolate almonds

Milk is ok when there's no other option. White is just gross though.

Oh god, fuck these things. They're so good but caloric black holes. I've learned to buy them individually in small bags at high mark ups from corner stores to stave off my urge to gorge. I can't imagine how many I'd go through just eating during a movie.

White chocolate isn't "gross" to me but it's one of my least favorite things when it comes to sweets/candy bars/etc.

Pretty much the only way I genuinely enjoy white chocolate, is having white chocolate dipped pretzels.

Get Dark Chocolate Roasted Almonds instead.

The nutrition content is almost the same as just regular natural almonds/roasted almonds, minus having about 5g of sugar per serving (which is basically a handful).

From what I heard those bars have 3-4 percent cacao and don't use cacao butter but some substitute.

So it's the 'I can't believe it's not chocolate' of candy bars.

Anything with 3 percent cacao and without cacao butter is not chocolate, not an opinion but a fact.

In my country I have never found chocolate with less than 20 percent cacao (even the cheapest crappy supermarket milk chocolate) and all chocolate is made with pure cacao butter (like that is something that needs to be mentioned... apparently it does in the US).

If it wasn't then it wouldn't be chocolate...

You can like the not-chocolate, whatever.
But don't pretend it's chocolate.

a'ight motherfuckers let's not play games about the best supermarket chocolates.

Dark chocolate. Rum and raisins. Aw yea, you know what's up.

You can't go wrong with cookies and cream, but fuckin boy this kitkat is all that, yea yea.

no contest, I want these balls in my mouth ALL OF THE TIME. Dark chocolate balls, white chocolate balls, hazelnut chocolate balls, peanut butter choco- actually, forget peanut butter. Only peasants eat chocolate with peanut butter in it. DAIRY MILK CHOCOLATE BALLS WOO.

All those fancy European chocolates taste like shit to me. Hershey's is fantastic.

Also, there's only one god-tier level chocolate and it's Kinder

My coffee is the same as my heart - Strong and Dark
(and sweet >.> I do add sugar)

I absolutely love dark chocolate and normally don't prefer Hershey's but...

For S'mores Hershey's is the way to go.

But don't pretend it's chocolate.

When chocolate was first consumed by humans it was made into a potent, unsweetened, incredibly bitter hot drink consumed by indigenous Central and South American cultures, generally only on special occasions. 100% pure cacao. Some douche bags like to act as though their 20% cacao "I can't believe it's not chocolate" is superior to someone else's 10% cacao "I can't believe it's not chocolate" but none of it is really chocolate. Not 100% pure chocolate.

I am aware that I have offended the entirety of EuroGAF with my post

To expand on what I said, Hershey's did not sit well with me the first time I tried it. I genuinely thought it was 'off' so I felt wrong about eating it, but after the second time it grew on me pretty fast and now it's one of my favorite chocolates.

I've tried a few chocolates like Ferrero and Lindt, but they genuinely just taste so plain and bland to me, as someone who grew up eating Kinder. Cadbury's pretty good when it's just plain chocolate with no other flavors added, but Kinder, Hersheys and Reese's are where it's at for me. Kinder in particular, being my favorite
