I think She-Hulk is a better plan for the MCU than Hulk.

She should move to the same block in Hell's Kitchen that Matt is currently at and start a competing lawyering business.

Marvel got Hulk right (on the big screen). Don't know what your talking about.

As for She-Hulk, meh. She's not that interesting to carry a film.

A cameo would be fine but you have to explain another character obtaining similar abilities. Too much work in the short term.

The Hulk sucks, so I'd be all for the superior She-Hulk with a great actress playing her, someone badass like Katee Sackhoff.

She-Hulk feels very outdated conceptually. Her original conceit was eye candy of sorts.

Even her name is terrible.

I wouldn't mind if she just went by Jennifer Walter in perpetuity and remove her from the Hulk's shadow.

No more Hell's Kitchen please, NY has other neighborhoods you can shine the spotlight on.

Put me down for a She Hulk TV show.

If they got Hulk so right, why did they recast him twice? And, AGAIN, I never said it had to be a movie. Netflix is a thing.

Just need to find a female weightlifter/actress who's on the tall side.

Look into Edward Norton and marvels relationship. Contract dispute
Norton was a jerk and wanted too much control of the final product. It didn't end well for him.

Maybe Netflix but again, I don't think the character is interesting enough.

Why the hell have we not cast Gina Carano as She-Hulk yet?

She's beautiful, has muscle and curves, does all her own stunts, and, while she's not going to win any Oscars, she can act and does act and deserves better than being background fodder in films like Deadpool and Fast and the Furious.

The fact DC didn't cast her as Wonder Woman blows my mind a bit (she even dated Superman himself, Henry Cavill), so I say that's an opportunity for Marvel proper to snatch her up for the MCU.

Give me my campy courtroom action comedy film, Marvel! Just pitch it as Ally McBeal meets WWE.

She Hulk doesn't need to be super bulky. It's a comic book movie. Muscle mass don't equal strength, it's make believe strength anyway, otherwise every character would look like Arnold in his prime.

I'd like to see someone like Rashida Jones as She-Hulk. We missed out on her in Ant-Man, and since She-Hulk should be comedy-focused she needs an actor with comedic chops. She could easily work either in a TV or big screen setting as well, and ssame with the character.

But what about the blob? Or kingpin?

Sure there are exceptions, but there are tons of superheroes that have slightly muscular builds but are really strong--Spiderman, Captain America, Captain Marvel, all the Superman analogs.

Size doesn't always strength. That's all I'm saying.

You don't need a roided actress to play Jennifer Walters. I'd rather someone nail her personality first.

As far as comics go, I have not given a shit about the Hulk in years.
Banner is the Hulk, wait no he isn't no yes he is. Red Hulk, now who is the Hulk, wait there are more Hulks...who is the Hulk now...wait ...who is the Hulk?

It got tedious and just way off I think what made Hulk interesting in the beginning.
Now, as far as MCU goes he has been great so far.
She Hulk could be great in a series, I do not think you can get enough of her personality in an Avengers type movie to really sell people on her.

I'd say big screen, largely because she's a larger-than-life character. I'd prefer to see her and The Hulk actually on screen together, and she's a character who in the comics seems to do best when bouncing off of other larger-than-life characters like Wolverine and Thor and Captain America.

I mean, she's the character who got tossed out of the Avengers mansion for partying too hard and breaking too many beds.

Granted, I also wouldn't mind seeing her and Daredevil both in a courtroom together...

But she is clearly taller than everyone else, but they do some camera magic for that

Marvel did a great job erasing the stench of that Fox/Ben Affleck Daredevil movie. I am really looking forward to season 2 and wouldn't be surprised of a new daredevil movie in phase 4.

They have also done a great job introducing new characters like Antman and Jessica Jones. I'm sure She Hulk is in their plans somewhere.

Sadly, I think she falls under the same rights as Hulk and is thus partially with Universal, which is a shame because I love Shulkie.

I imagine something like House of Cards meets Ferris Bueller meets MCU where she'll stop and talk to the audience.

Would be nice to know when the Universal rights expire.

Would Marvel risk putting out female centric movie?
Captain Marvel is on the docket, and the JJ show has been successful.

They don't have to do it the exact same way. She good a blood transfusion from Bruce Banner. Gave her Hulk powers.

Not a complicated origin, nor do they have to make it "eye candy of sorts" like it was. It may be an outdated concept, but that concept exists. And as for the whole naming her as just a female version of a male character, it's outdated, but it's also largely become a "nobody cares" scenario. No one does it anymore, but the old characters are still named that way because they're established. Jenny from the block is no different.
You didn't read Old Man Logan?
God the end of that book got really rough.
A Spectrum show would totes awesome, a black female cop in new Orleans dealing with mundane and freaky shit?
As long as we get Auntie Monica down the line:

Because she's not a good actress? Who cares if she has muscles if she can't lead a movie to save her life. Fans put way too much emphasis on "oh this person looks like the comic book therefore they need to be cast." Muscle can be added or dropped to an extent, give me the actor/actress who's going to serve the movie better.

Drax works because he's a supporting character with a very limited role that shines a spotlight on Bautista's strengths. In that case, you don't have to get someone as talented as Mark Ruffalo. If that's what they plan on doing with She-Hulk then maybe.

I'm not sold on Gadot, but she has her shot and Affleck's praise but Caron would have been an even worse hire.

Neither could Bautista. We gave him a few more swings at bat. He's decent enough as Drax now.
They essentially just made Drax a one note character in an ensemble movie. You can't do that with She-Hulk in her own show.

If they made a Drax show with Bautista as the star it would be terrible.

I'd watch it...

I'm not advocating that She-Hulk be the star (though I'd love for her to get top-billing in something). HULK himself hasn't carried a movie since forever, and even his very best movies were still some of the weaker ones in comparison to the rest.
People are too hard on Gina's acting abilities. I will definitely admit they aren't great, but I've definitely seen worse. MUCH worse. Sometimes you need a better role, and even Bautista took lots of acting classes after a few of his stinkers.

I'd advocate She-Hulk as a character that belongs in an ensemble piece. A "supporting" character, someone dragged into the insanity of the MCU against her will. Like, make her Tony's lawyer or something, she gets in an accident (maybe Avengers related), Bruce has to give her a blood transfusion, bam-presto, She-Hulk's now around, trying to live a normal life despite being a 7-foot-tall, muscular green Amazon she-beast, and eventually says "screw it" and helps them punch out whatever threat-of-the-month is threatening the planet again.

Cue the spin-off show where she has to defend various super-powered freaks and weirdos or the victims of various superpowered situations.

Know how I know you haven't read any of her books in the last 10 years?
