I was on the fence before but good lord, Smash looks incredible. Nintendo's been listening to what people want and it shows; the game is just oozing in fan service. I love every game in the series and I'm unbelievably hyped for this.

I literally bought a Wii U less than five minutes after that Direct was over...but it was really the Mario Kart that got me. I suppose I knew I would always get it anyways, I mean I already have Tropical Freeze...

This is almost exactly how I feel about the Wii U. I got it for Smash, Bayo 2/MK8/Tropical Freeze/Super Mario Bros U are a nice bonus, and anything past that is an even nicer bonus.

That said, I wasn't sure about the 3DS version, and I don't like the slide pad (I have a 3DS XL), but those extra modes and the earlier release are almost certainly going to get me to give in this summer.

Im sorry but have you ever played a smash brothers game before? Inviting your friends over all hanging out and playing for hours and hours. I'm getting both versions but the 3ds version will never give me the same experience as the wii u version.
