Oh definitely thats why I'm sure this type of blind date is very rare, but I'm sure it could still be fun and different for an established couple like you and your gf. Try it out! The bolded: this was my first date with my husband, almost 20 years ago. We drove out of town to a spot with low light pollution, bringing dinner and a boombox with us. We were up late into the night, meandering from topic to topic, looking up at the Milky Way.

I cannot recommend it highly enough.
