I keep trying to sell myself to companies as a fandom anthropologist, but as of yet no one's bought me.

Come on people! Don't you want an insider who not only knows how fandom actually works and how to make it work for you, but won't be driven completely insane by it? I'm fucking gold!

Just start writing the research papers and essays and they will eventually come to you for more answers! I think the sociological/anthropological aspects of insular societies and movements that develop in forums and online fandoms are really fascinating, even though I'm sure sure much research and analysis on it gets done.

I am kinda really proud to even have been a GAF member all this time and to have contributed in any way at all since I'm usually just scared of everything.. I think GAF has helped with with my social anxiety over time and that's pretty cool.. even if it means I sometimes feel like I'm crapping up threads with my very reasonable analyses. lol

Therefore in order to give back the the community, I should probably be made a mod.
