Ideal game length?

Linear and story-focused, 5-10 hours. Longer and I'll just play them one time no matter how great they are. Shorter and I might revisit them.

Open world and gameplay-focused, 50-100 hours or open-ended so I can keep on playing as long as I want.

My ideal length would be about 40 hours max with everything. That's usually about 20 hours for most folks, as I'm very slow playing games.

For me its less about actual length and more about satisfaction. The game can be 100 hours long or just 8 hours, as long as I had satisfying experience then I'm happy.

20-25 hours, assuming they can mix it up and keep it fresh.

Much longer if it's an RPG, but never above 100 hours.

About 20 to 100 hours and this would include replays.

It's pretty undeniable at this stage that longer games sell better and are recieved better especially at higher price points.

People that prefer shorter games are either a vocal minority or Game journalist's .

Depends so much on what's going on in my life.
When I was 20, 45 hours was cool.
Today with a job, two kids and a house, I'm struggling to play at all. So when I play I'm happy if the game doesn't exceed 10 hours.
