Not only the big 3rd party publishers and Sony/MS would fight for Nintendo IPs, but the likes of Apple, Disney could come to the table for getting these major IPs.
But I can't imagine a good publisher/developer for the big IPs. Star Fox to Treasure or Platinum, Fire Emblem to Atlus but that's all.

Geez I know Nintendo has taken heavy losses but this is a bit unwarranted currently. This is the year they finally fill the Wii U library with stuff and their making the demo's available on Best Buy Kiosks during E3 so everyone can play and know about them and not just those that attended.

They're getting exclusives locked down on their console, and have you forgotten how ridiculously popular Smash Bros is? That things alone should seriously boost their fiscal year once it hits.

They've suffered but this is like saying because someone has a bad year in sports they will never do well again.

I think that would go exactly against Miyamoto's wishes but I can imagine it.

I think SEGA would try and pick up a bunch of stuff. Mario for example, even Nintendos The Pokémon Company shares.

Then I think Microsoft or Sony will try and pick up a few IPs. Metroid, Starfox for example.

Regardless think for a moment, if Nintendo ever did go under, the bidding war for these IPs would be rediclious.
