Probably the PS3 lineup, because even if you don't want a PS3, if you got one, you could turn around, sell it for $1000 in the parking lot, got back into the store and buy a Wii with 4 games, 4 controllers, a couple of Classic Controllers and still walk out with a nice profit.

I plan to get that at the latest a day early, since my local store always sells stuff early, just so that I can pass by and see how the Wii/PS3 go over the counter, and the inevitable shortages, along with any entertaining conflict that ensues...
Then again, they could have the MS jacket hounds patroling the city for that week like what they did with Halo 2 - I think that was the only game in that store's history that they didn't sell early because Microsoft makes sure to warn every store carrying their games, and actually have people in MS jackets going from store to store that whole week... and if they get caught, they gots to pay a big fine...
But I'll definetely be there to see the lines though...

That's actually my one main concern. If I was gloriously rich, I probably'd wait a little bit until they worked the bugs out. But the system and games being the prices they are, I don't even have to worry.

I would have been in the PS3 line...if the Sonic game coming out for it was going to be any good. But since it's not...
I'll just buy a Wii whenever Mario Galaxy or Sonic ATSR comes out.

Both. Which one gets turned on first when I get home is a harder choice.
I really think there are going to be mass riots for the PS3 across the globe. At that price, places will be broken into and machines will be stolen. Real wrath-of-god type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling. Forty years of darkness. Earthquakes, volcanoes... The dead rising from the grave. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria!

That would suck ass. I'd have to hire one of those homeless dudes to pick up a PS3 for me while I wait in line for Wii.
I'm cautiously excited about Wii. Really want one bad, but even I'm feeling a little concerned about how fugly most of the games have been looking so far... I'm by no means a graphics whore in any way, shape or form, but still... have we seen anything that looks even Xbox 1 quality yet in terms of visuals?

Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people buying the PS3 pick up a Wii + Zelda right with it.
If you got $600-$700 to spend on one game machine, chances are you're in an income bracket that can throw around a lot of $$$$ or the value of gaming in relation to your economic needs is awfully high and you're prone to spending a lot of $$$$ on games.
In the latter case you likely don't have a girlfriend, so that probably saves a good amount of $$$ too :lol

QFT sort of. The only thing that interests me on the PS3 is FFXIII and MGS4, and on the Wii, SSBB and the Virtual Console (the most appealing thing to me on the Wii). I still really could care less about either though, handhelds I believe are all I'm gonna need in the coming years.
Plus, I hate lines, no way would I buy them day 1.

i would naturally have it preordered to be delivered to me but for the sake of the thread the wii without a doubt. if i do buy the ps3 it wont be until the ps3tiny comes out.
