If they make a TLOU3 where should it be located?

Starts out in Calgary alberta, fight thier way to Banff Alberta, work thier way to the coast through the rocky mountains to "freedom" or "salvation"

It's almost certainly going to be East Coast. We're going to find out why Ellie is immune, stuff about her mother Anna. Also definitely seemed like Ellie had just come back from the West, arrived home to find it empty, and was just going to keep walking east.

My guess is New York City or Washington DC. Lots of flashbacks too Anna and young Marlene, and maybe even young Joel because young Tommy was running with Marlene at some point.

I would be all for this. A surprise playable prequel story line part of the game with Joel & Tommy during their Hunter/Firefly days would be amazing. Hopefully they can wrap up the entire Ellie storyline & history in the next game and then move onto other stories / parts of the world in The Last of Us-universe.

Not sure about killing off Ellie, but a new protag in a totally different country would be cool, but also tie into the main story somehow?

A TLOU in Brazil, Rwanda, Poland or South Korea or any other country beside the US again would be fantastic.

Cant wait for TLOU 3!
What they should do is having Ellie discover another kid that is immune - mimicking the story of TLOU1 - but in the end its Ellie sacrificing herself to save humanity.

Wouldn't want it to be set in a single place.
I'd rather go back to a "we need to get from point A to B" setup like the first game that takes you to various places.

Anyway, the thread asks a very specific question and I answered with my opinion. TLOU1 was solid, I absolutely hated 2, therefore I don't think a third one should exist.
Does that answer work better for you, or are you still going to call out all opinions that are different than yours?

I liked the setting in the division games (but didn't like the games that much though)
I'd love to see what the naughty dogs wizard could do with these cities.

And i'd love to see the story of abby and ellie continue (each in a different city) and they both die at the end.

Should start in Vancouver and end in Anchorage , Alaska..where Ellie after murdered hundreds of people finally realizes the only way to save her soul and stop the pain inside her is to give her body to doctors in order to save humanity....but while she was being operated Abby appears and kill the doctors...then appoach to Ellie and whispers "nothing stops this train"

And final credits begin to roll

One thing is for sure.....there's more of a chance of a Last of Us 3 then another spin off from the Uncharted series....the developers have said pretty much "We're done here..."
 
If it happens, a new location would be really neat for sure. But I really don't know what would work for the potential story. I mean, there's so many possibilities, sure. I just feel like TLOU2, it really does feel like it could stop, and it'd be fine.

I'm really looking forward to the new multiplayer game, honestly. At this point, much more so. But we'll see! If TLOU 3 DOES happen and it looks amazing, I could certainly be swayed. :)
 
Someplace non-typical. I really liked how the second took place in Seattle instead of the typical US locations like LA, San Francisco or NY.
