Awesome, they had one of these at an arcade here that has long gone.
A friend of mine has one of these beasts at home. And like 6 Egrets. Dat jealousy.Always liked this game at the arcade.

Protip: if you just get one cab, don't go with a dedicated machine. More games, more flexibility, more fun.I'm torn between choosing an arcade machine with the game I would enjoy the most (like Virtua Fighter 3, or the Alien Vs Predator beat'em up), and one that I could play forever without getting bored (maybe a lightgun game, ala Virtua Cop ?).
But what I would really like would be an air hockey machine, and a billiard table.
Gundam Kizuna Mobile Suit Gundam: Bonds of the Battlefield (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna) is the latest Gundam arcade game made by Namco.
The most notable feature is the P.O.D. (Panoramical Optical Display), which features 180 degree wide angle and 360-degree sound effects, an adjustable seat as well as headset to aid in teamplay communications.

Yeah, after Daytona USA this would be my second choice. The sit-down cabinet is really a great experience, the controller is fantastic, the sound is amazing, and oh those vector graphics....![]()
I can't believe it took until page 4 before someone posted this (eat it 100 post people). Anyone who has played this in the arcades know this is the way to play this game. No controller can replicate what is on this cabinet, and the stand up version, while good, doesn't remotely give you the same experience that this baby does.
It's the first arcade game I remember playing. I haven't seen a sit down one in decades and I haven't seen a stand up one in years. I'd love to have a working sit down version of these, but like all the arcade stuff I want to own (Twilight Zone Pinball etc) keeping it running would be no small effort.

Most definitely Time Crisis 2. Both sad and surprised to see that no one has posted it yet.
Ohh I forgot this thing.

Its a taito viewlix cab I beleive. You can get the plans to make.them online..are those just 2 regular tournament sticks side by side?
Gauntlet. I dumped so many quarters back in the day.
I'd rather have the X-Men 6 player cabinet.
