Well, it doesn't necessarily mean that. They could be working on COD4 or another franchise tie-in. When I talked to Activision today it sounded like they'd have something in that vein to announce next week.

This feels like going from Superman to Superman 2 and now getting Superman 3.

Neversoft developed all the (console) Tony Hawk games. Treyarch only ported a couple of them (Dreamcast THPS1 and Xbox THPS2X from what I recall...)
