Then FFS let someone else handle it. Just because you can't add anything to the series doesn't mean someone else can't.
 
This is okay. They shouldn't make it until they have a great idea for it, but I can't wait for the hypocrites to jump in the thread and say that they should just make another F-Zero GX
 
I hate it how F-Zero seems to be stuck behind an innovation barrier, while other Nintendo franchises.. well, aren't.

A 1080/60 F-Zero is all people want.
 
I don't get it. They keep making mario games and mario kart games that aren't that different from before. Why not just make a better Fzero game too.
 
Honestly, if they just released GX in HD I'd be happy at this point. Can't really expect anything more from them.

Because games like Mario Kart can sell on name alone. F-Zero does not. F-Zero is not a franchise that = instant success. The game would have to earn it in a way something like Mario Kart does not need to do.
 
At least make a high speed option for Mario Kart or something so we can get the thrill of that. Though that'd require courses DESIGNED around high speed.
 
HERE'S A CRAZY IDEA:

MAKE IT ONLINE. THAT'S A PRETTY NOVEL CONCEPT FOR THE SERIES.

Also, Mario Kart 7 brought basically nothing that new or innovative to the series, so I have no idea why that got a pass and F-Zero doesn't. Aside from the fact that they don't think it'll make money.
 
Agree with all of you....... just make the game. It doesn't have to do anything fantastic......... other than be F-Zero, which is fantastic enough. Make it a $19.99 e-shop game with 32 player online racing....... take GX and slap a new coat of HD paint on it. Bought day one.
 
Geez, just make 1080p 60 fps, 30 player online f-zero. Not really rocket science here Shiggy. The experience of playing online play should be enough of a difference to warrant a new one.
 
Man that's disappointing news. A new F-Zero would move me a lot closer to buying a Wii U. It can't be that hard to think of a direction for the game.
 
I just want another one. Heck boost sales by rebranding it as Mario Kart Extreme: F-Zero. I don't care.

Now that wipeout is 'dead'... fzero is all that's left!

It's not hard to understand, go look at the sales figures for F-Zero GX & compare them to MK or Mario.


Edit: F-Zero doesn't meet the conditions he laid out last year, they don't have any thing new to add, it doesn't make them a lot of money & it wasn't an idea ahead of its time. Until any of those things change, no F-Zero for you.
 
Fuck you Miyamoto san! Adding antigravity-fucking-wheels to a goddamn Mario Kart game does not make it new or refreshing. It's the same goddamn game youve been rehashing for years. The difference is, it still sells well and Fzero didn't. Jeezus....I am normally somewhat neutral and even a little defensive when it comes to Nintendo but their bullshit lately it insane.

But you'd agree that the Mario Kart success so to speak was also earned at one point and you can't expect a game to have brand power if you don't invest in the brand in the first place.
