From an industrial design standpoint. Lots of clean white rooms, I mean the shit was DIRTY, but it had clean lines and very simple design.

Why is everyone drooling on it's graphics. Yes it has good graphics, but not "omgwtfbbq" good.

Seeing it in motion, particularly the dialogue parts, it looks almost prerendered. I'm a die-hard JRPG player and haven't been remotely interested in any western RPG's, until seeing this game. The story seems interesting and the game looks to really draw you into it.

I love this one. Not just because it's well illustrated, but its nice to see character art where the person is not just flexing a supersweet action pose. I hope this kind of mood is reflected in the game.

One thing I really wish they drop is the custom character.
Don’t get me wrong I love messing with the character creation process (oh sweet! A boob size slider! ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT!) but in a dialog heavy game I would rather have a well defined persona.
You always ends up with the same gender-agnostic writing techniques, which I feel is an unnecessary burden that BioWare keep putting on thier writers.

Mass Effect looks amazing. I love the art style. I'm really curious how the blend of RPG and shooter works out; it's an odd blend but I have a lot of faith in Bioware. Last I read, this was supposed to be a spring/early summer release, so that May 22 date might be about right. Can't wait.

Male or female, and I'm pretty sure I read a couple times that "everything is customizable" or something, so whatever that means. You can only be a human, though. It's part of the story.

Nice job mods. There's simple trolling of 360 games (like in most 360 threads, I confess, I sometimes participate in it) and there's extraordinary, retarded trolling of PS3 games in 360 threads about 360 exclusive games like that guy did.

Had he stop at commenting "Mass Effect looks awesome!" all would be fine & dandy but nah he had to throw a "hyped PS3 exclusive game looks like shit!" as well.

BTW Mass Effect does indeed look awesome. I can only hope it gets a PC releaese somewhere in the future.
