I'll believe Zelda is a "vast open world" and not just a series of hub-and-spoke areas when I am actually playing it.

Jose is one of the only real editors at IGN who is shameless
What does that even mean?

Great episode this week as usual, listened on my commute this morning. A little sad at the continued Star Fox Adventures hate; it's a flawed game and I know I'm in the exceedingly tiny minority but I adore it. Always have. Granted, I've only played through it once but I never had issues with collecting or progressing, I always had what I needed to get where I was supposed to go. Maybe I was a more fastidious gamer in those days, who knows? The graphics were awesome, the music was great, and it was a competent Zelda clone featuring severely underused characters. Sure they were shoehorned into a world not initially created for them but it still mostly worked... save for the Andross appearance at the end. But still, dug it, always will... but I'm certainly not going to play it again to ruin those memories. Rose-colored glasses staying firmly in place.

Damn lol

I'll have to give it a listen in a bit, but I hate the idea. I'd much rather the silent theme be even more pronounced since it's unique to the series. Voice acting isn't good unless it's extremely well written(with voice in mind) and done.

nintendo voice chat is the name of the podcast, not what they are proposing.

Listened to this the other day, one of the ideas was great. Being able to solve puzzles in multiple ways would be amazing but you'd have to get rid of how contextually based Zelda items are. I also don't get why all puzzles in Zelda have to revolve around items. Those are very simplistic sorts of puzzles anyways. There should be more puzzles based on following clues and mechanically based ones like in adventure games like Riven.

Sorry for the late response. I was on vacation. To be clear, I mean shameless positively, as in, you have ethics and you're real with your opinions. It was poor wording.

Haha, I think everyone assumed you were being positive, you said Jose was the exception of the rule on IGN, and the rule is usually one of mild incompetence.
