16. Cars 2
15. Cars
14. Brave
13. The Good Dinosaur
12. Monsters University
11. A Bug's Life
10. Up
9. Monsters Inc
8. Finding Nemo
7. Inside Out
6. Toy Story 3
5. Toy Story 2
4. Ratatouille
3. Wall-E
2. The Incredibles
1. Toy Story

I agree with this.

I feel that Brave gets a bum rap thanks to the fact it followed the stinker that is Cars 2, which, if memory serves, was drummed up a fair bit prior to release due Lasseter's direct involvement. I found it to be a return to form for the most part.

Brave gets a bum rap because it's a mess, not because it followed Cars 2. If anything, Cars 2 should've made it look better.

If we are ranking the Pixar movies, this would be my list:

1. Ratatouille
2. Toy Story
3. Monster. Inc
4. Cars
5. Wall. E
6. The Incredibles
7. Finding Nemo
8. Toy Story 3
9. Toy Story 2
10. A Bug's Life
11. Inside Out
12. Up
13. Monsters University
14. Cars 2
15. The Good Dinosaur
16. Brave

What's the point of fighting someone who's already lost?

For me incredibles and Ratatouille are the best. Monster Inc. and University are closely thereafter. Toy Story deserves a spot for nostalgia sakes. Nemo, bugs life is closely out of top 5.

That said up, wall e and brave were dissapointing compared to hype. Planes, cars, inside out (sorry bing bong, one good character doeant carry a film) were just bland.

I haven't seen every Pixar film, but I'll say this:

-I barely remember anything about Brave, but that was more the setting than the movie itself.

-I didn't like Cars 2. Cool premise, but was ultimately boring and I found Mater annoying.

The ones I've yet to see:
Monsters University
WALL-E
Cars
Inside Out
The Good Dinosaur

Outside of all that, I've loved every Pixar film I've seen.

People say Up is fairly by the numbers or mundane, and I know they're talking about the Kevin part of the plot (which kind of is), but seem to be completely glossing over that Pixar made a movie centered around an old man, probably going to his death in the jungle to fulfill the wishes of his deceased wife. He even gets a glimpse of what that would've been like, but rejects it only because he has people to care about again. Kevin probably exists in the movie because "Old man needs a reason for living" was a hard sell to the people in charge.

Besides the villian, its not really a rehash of Toy Story 2 at all. It was also a great way to wrap up the movies. Nobody knows the bullet we dodged by Disney buying Pixar.

Disney was gonna make a sequel to Toy Story themselves. The plot was Buzz gets recalled to Taiwan and Woody and co. have to save him. I shit you not.

Tell me with a straight face that this would have been good.

Funny enough, this and the trash compactor stuff is in the actual movie. It's just that in the movie, this happens at the nursery.

Disney actually had plans to make a shit ton of money out of all Pixar IPs by producing their own, cheap DTV sequels. I've seen also some concept arts of a Monsters Inc. sequel, with a grown-up Boo. The reason we dodged that bullet though is, because Pixar refused and withdraw from their contract. The fact Disney bought Pixar later (when Michael Eisner was gone) had nothing to do with it.

Wall-E's way too high. No movie without dialogue should be that high up, imo.

Wall-E has dialogue and it probably would have been a better film without it. Just sayin'. (Still love it, though)

Planes is not a Pixar film.

My ranking:

#1 Ratatouille
#2 Toy Story 3
#3 Wall-E
#4 Up
#5 Toy Story
#6 Monsters Inc.
#7 The Incredibles
#8 Inside Out
#9 Finding Nemo
#10 Toy Story 2
#11 Brave
#12 A Bug's Life
#13 Cars
#14 Monsters University
#15 Cars 2

Haven't seen "A Good Dinosaur" yet.

Toy Story 3 and finding nemo are way overrated imo. Cars doesn't deserve half the crap it gets, and Ratatouille is still their number movie imo.

1. Ratatouille
2. Wall-E
3. Inside Out
4. The Incredibles
5. Up

any idiot knows that a movie is trash if it doesn't run on talking heads, flash backs and voice overs. Thats a real quote by hemmingway and arayab ran too!

finally got around to rewatching inside out. liked it more on second viewing and i'll give bing bong props if not solely for his voice actor.

still something about it that's off to me though. maybe i'm just jaded.

the soundtrack is easily the best part.

The Incredibles is my favourite movie, but still I know its not easy to be number 1 in the pixar lists. Happy is in top 5 even if for me is number 1.

The Incredibles over Finding Nemo and Ratatouille? Nonono. The only thing Incredibles should be high up on is a list of most overrated films.

Doesnt surprise me you having that bad taste if you like Fallout 4 :P

The only thing I'm sure of is that The Incredibles is the best. It's the best full-on superhero movie ever made and the best Bond film ever made.

The superhero concept tends to fail because it is used in shallow ways. Big Hero 6 for example is far more interesting before the superhero concept enters and makes everything weaker. But The Incredibles tackles it head on with the idea of "if everyone is super, no one is." A genuinely interesting, complex take on the subject. Plus, the characterization is excellent, and the individual powers are nicely designed to serve the characters and themes.

The art design and action are also fantastic. Elastigirl's action scenes wow me every time.

YES!

I haven't seen The Good Dinosaur yet. I have seen every other Pixar movie though, multiple times. From worst to best:

Cars 2
Brave
A Bug's Life
Cars
Monsters University
Inside Out
Finding Nemo
Ratatouille
Up
Wall-E
The Incredibles
Monsters, Inc.
Toy Story 1, 2 & 3

Yeah, I can't decide between the Toy Story movies. I just love all three so much. Definitely my favorite Pixar franchise.

Inside Out is not better than Ratatouille and Monsters Inc. this list is stupid. Inside Out was terrible and judging by this the Dinosaur movie is too.

Remember when Pixar never made bad films?

Watching finding Nemo nowadays was pretty hard for me. It wasn't nearly as entertaining as I remembered it. Kind of think it is overrated.

I also don't get why Brave is viewed so badly.

Otherwise the list is okay to me, even though I would change some minor stuff in the top ranks. I absolutely love Wall-E.

Not a big fan of lists and this one is no exception. Ratatouille is pretty much a perfect film in my eyes, not sure how it can be ranked this low. A tiered approach to this list would have been better.

It's also really disappointing to me that the Good Dinosaur didn't deliver. Based off previews it seemed like the perfect movie to take my son to the theater for the first time to see.

Also now that I think about it Pixar has yet to do a film that primarily focuses on the father/son dynamic. I would really like to see them explore that.

Like with Brave I personally think people are overreacting when it comes to The Good Dinosaur.
