IGN: Rumored PS4 Release for Remastered Beyond: Two Souls

I thought this was interesting as several people wondered aloud how good the game would look on the PS4's hardware last year. I've already gotten the platinum but it's a nice game that should get a second chance.

Lock if old.

As much as I'd love for more PS3 and Xbox 360 titles to get some nice remastered releases......

Beyond: Two Souls is not a game i care at all about playing through again

I briefly confused this with Murdered: Soul Suspect and wondered why Squeenix would bother throwing money away on such an endeavour.

Loved the 1st but don't know if I would buy it again. The graphics were already phenomenal, anyway. Would rather see a Heavy Rain 2.

So, are we going to expect now every big or famous game to have a next gen remaster? Sucks for us people that played it and supported it day 1, I suppose. I'd rather these companies get their asses into working on new shit for those next gen beasts.

Game is unbelievably impressive on the PS3 so with better IQ in a few scenes it would easily be the best looking console game out there.

Would grab again, definitely a flawed game but the way they handled choice and branching with Aiden was pretty neat even if it wasn't as obvious as Heavy Rain in that manner.

Not really, I played it at release because I wanted to. Why would I not want a better version to exist? And most ports/remasters are handled by external teams, and the ones that aren't are handled by huge teams who can do other things at the same time.

I hope they do this to all of the ps3 games they sent to die before the ps4 release. Puppateer should be next.

Please announce my dream Heavy Rain/Beyond: Two Souls remaster pack. I love David Cage's games even if they are...less than well received.

I really liked Heavy Rain but never played Beyond on ps3. I let the bad press talk me out of it. I would probably buy the ps4 version though given the love I have seen from the community here.

I might be the minority but I missed beyond 2 souls on PS3 as I was putting money towards PS4 so I would definitely like to see this on there.

...and great for those that missed out last-gen, especially Xbox 360-only fans whom have gone to PS4 for this gen that never got a chance to try it out.

To be fair, it did look as good as a PS3 game could be.
To be fair on the other side, it's an absolute terrible game that has the worst romantic railroading of anything I've ever seen, has gaping plot holes, has an atrocious story and rides solely on the star power of Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe. Props to them for riding out that script and powering through.

Quantic Dream has hinted they've had their hands on PS4 dev kits for quite some time. David Cage even said as much during interviews on Beyond as they used shading techniques they made for PS4 to improve their PS3 game. They also had that the Sorcerer tech demo last year. I'm sure they have a PS4 project in the pipe. I don't have a link for that interview though. Sorry.

Figured David Cage's games would be the focus of Playstation Now pushes considering that they are, uh less input dependent, than most games.

I wonder if this will be at next years E3 conference and get big cheers like GTAV for PS4 did.

I mean when was the last time a port got a big cheer from the audience. It's super pathetic.
