IGN Strikes Again: What Nintendo Can Learn From Catherine.

Clearly Zelda should be wearing a string bikini not some nun dress! Also Link should go commando while only wearing the green tunic. That sure will sell some copies!

I'd like to think I played a little part in this amazing moment in history. If I did, I give you the highest of fives. The very highest.
High five then, man!

First one I see and it's about Dudebro II, nice :D
It must be a sign.

I think IGN might need to have whatever tenuous "journalism" badge they may carry revoked. The first few posts nailed it; this is hollow, ad-revenue-baiting shlock at its worst. At the very least they need an editor with a pair of bollocks who could erase those entire paragraphs of meaningless fluff. That article is 1993 GamePro levels of pun-filled hyperbole and nonsense.

I weep for future generations.

I'm gonna go right ahead and assume this dude wasn't banned for this post.

IGN is an utter laughing stock. They have nobody to blame but themselves for the festering pool of stupidity that roams their comments sections.

You know, it was said a lot in another topic, but after reading this it's hard for me to think that people at IGN have an unbiased view of Nintendo. I mean, there's seemingly a column EVERY WEEK, about how much Nintendo sucks, they should end up like Sega, etc. And it just sucks that Nintendo's credibility is being hurt just for a few hits on IGNs part. Love these articles or hate them, we still link to them, as it's not unreasonable to say that fanboyism is the driving force in this industry.
During a podcast, one of the editors said, "I think Nintendo should die."

Not joking. He actually said "die".

"What No More Heroes could learn from hardcore games."

Shots fired! Some of the more ridiculous titles are starting to sound more like bad gaf threads!

Granted, Nintendo really isn't doing anything innovative in terms of online interfaces or new IPs, but that certainly doesn't mean they need to revamp their core franchises. ...Or does it? Methinks it does. IGN isn't totally wrong in that general idea, they just phrased it in their usual fuckwittery manner.

Is Call of Duty a hardcore games for adults?

They are revamping their core IPs. Well, Zelda and Mario anyway.

As for new IPs, they are making them; they're just not releasing them in North America.

Bolded are sadly true. Just thought I'd post some of the funnier ones I read. I sadly could see a Megaman party or Sonic vs. Mario vs. Megaman in the future. Last one could be an article on IGN somewhere.

edit Best one yet:

Should IGN be a clerk simulator?

I remember 10 or so years ago when IGN was THE site to visit...

Now they are just trolling themselves.

only because of the staff writing for IGN64 and IGNcube.

I always thought the other sections were worthless. (except craig harris at gameboy section)
