How did I play 100+ hours of Fallout 3, getting 1550/1550 on 360, without ever encountering Dogmeat?

Chop is a terrible dog. You barely did anything with him. Basically my only interaction with him in 70 hours of single player is waking up in Franklin's mansion and hearing Franklin say "Good gravy Mary! Chop, we better work on your regimen!" whenever I booted the game.
