Tropical Freeze, Bayo 2, Splatoon and Wind Waker are too low.

Woolly World needs love.

Xenoblade needs to be bumped out of the list.

Wonderful 101 being absent is great.
 
As much as I love Wind Waker, it shouldn't be that high.
Also no TW101 is understandable since it has its problems that I couldn't get past myself. Well it's understandable to me
 
Man, so many good games on that list, I can't decide if the ordering is right or not. I will say that SMM sitting at #1 is okay with me, however.
 
This just reminds me of how much the WiiU has utterly failed me as a Nintendo fan. Wind Waker HD, Mario Maker and 3D World are awesome, though.

Yeah I don't get it, probably since I'm not a big Mario fan. I played it a bit, but it's not as satisfying as expected. I guess they could argue it as a gamepad proof of concept, but I still would put Splatoon in the top spot.

IGN gave it one of its lower reviews, so they're being consistent in that regard.

Also, I won't call out which games that are ahead of MH3U that are in fact worse than MH3U, but I'll just leave it as "most of them."

I know these lists are bait, but I can't help biting here...

Xenoblade X in front of DKC: Tropical Freeze is an embarrassment. In my book TF would be number 1. But seeing XCX in front of it is rank stupidity.

And Mario Maker at 1, good lord.

Pretty strong list. A damn sight better than Kotaku's backhanded-compliment list where they try to pretend Runner 2 is one of the best games on the console.

Although Hyrule Warriors and Deus Ex should at least knock of Disney Infinity or Stealth Inc., if not get ranked much higher.

I disagree with most of it but whaddya gonna do.
 
Where the hell is W101, kirby, and Yoshi is killing me.

Also, where is ZombiU?, Fatal Frame V, Hyrule Warriors, Wii Party U and my goty Nintendo land here? I mean, disney infinity? Really?

Aw come on you can't expect people to put Wii Party U in there even if you genuinely liked it. Same as how I'm not surprised Nintendo Land isn't in the top 15 or so.

I like 2D Mario. And Mario Maker is pretty cool. But better than Bayo 2? Better than Splatoon? W101?

No way in hell.

Yeah yeah, opinions. But its an opinion I just cannot understand.
 
Runner 2 really should have been there and a case can certainly be made for Shantae, and XCX should not be ahead of DKC by any means.

SMM is easy #1 and challenges for #1 of the console generation in my book.

Splatoon and Pikmin 3 too low and no Yoshi WW still makes the list flawed though.
 
Tropical Freeze seems to be the sticking point with people every time this list is posted. IGN's Editors just don't like the game quite as much as the general public. Which is fine.

Or, you'd think that would be fine.

No one's tastes match up completely.
 
Bayo 2 belongs in the top 3. Rayman Legends is great but not as good as DKCTF. Pretty good list all things considered.

As a fan of Mario and someone who owns Mario Maker I will never understand the obsession these sites and outlets have with putting it at the top of these best of lists. It's a neat concept and a well put together package but at the end of the day I'm having more fun with other games like Wooly World and W101, both which are absent.

The "best titles" (according to some guy, sure) are multi plats like Disney Infinity, or a very late barebones minecraft port? Shovel Knight shouldn't be included thats my mistake
