IGN's Top 9 Christopher Nolan movies

Anyone ranking Dark Knight Rises over anything is insane.

IGN confirming their lists are shit in all fields.
 
The Prestige is still my number one. Rewatched it last week..still..soo fucking good. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale perform on such a high level and David Bowie as Tesla? Fuck yeah!
 
Truth list:

6. Memento
5. Batman Begins (hasn't aged well at all)
4. Dark Knight Rises
3. The Prestige
2. Inception
1. Dark Knight
 
I haven't seen Following, Interstellar or The Prestige (though I bought it years ago on BR). I like this list, though Insomnia should be higher as it's great.

I love that Batman Begins is above TDKR. That was such an underwhelming end to a trilogy. Bleh.
 
. . . He's only credited as director on 10 films on IMDB and one of them's a short, which notably isn't on this list. It's nitpicky, but it REALLY should've been reflecting what IGN actually billed it as: ranking the Christopher Nolan movies.
 
#1 is right and they got the Batman movies in the right order. My only problem is that Inception seems to high, but I've only seen it once.

Decent list as long as its known that Nolan doesn't quite rate in the top 20 living Directors working today.

Agreed. Insomnia is better than the Batman films, and it's right up there with Memento. I'm not sure of which one I like better, but maybe Insomnia. I was late to watching it, and loved it.

Robin Williams was the man. He was a great comedian, yes, but also a phenomenal dramatic actor, as shown in Insomnia, What Dreams May Come, Dead Poet's Society, The Birdcage and One Hour Photo.

(I've yet to see a couple of his other dramatic roles.)
 
Memento above Prestige? DKR above Interstellar? Da fuck?

TDKR sucked,how is it even on that list! Interstellar should be way higher, plot holes aside it was the most visually impressive film I've seen in theatres in ages.
Swap memento and prestige, bump up TDK and interstellar and I'm happy. Oh and remove TDKR, fuck that movie was boring.

Bump Inception down too. Interstellar was soon much better.

Rises shouldn't even be on the list. Just make it a top 8. I think Memento is definitely among his best but Inception is one of his worst IMO and Batman Begins was far superior to TDK.
 
I posted mine the other day, not far off that. Begins is way better than Dark Knight though. Seriously guis.

Prestige > Memento > Begins > Inception > Dark Knight > Insomnia > Rises > Interstellar

I am not sure whether you are aware these are all of Nolans movies.

Still need to see Interstellar, but I mostly agree with the list. Maybe would put The Following over The Dark Knight Rises and maybe Insomnia. And Batman Begins before The Dark Knight. And Inception behind the Batman movies.
 
Ehhh...my list (Without yet seeing Interstellar) would look like

1. Dark Knight
2. The Prestige
3. Memento
4. The Dark Knight Rises
5. Batman Begins
6. Insomnia
7. Inception
8. Following

TDKR is underappreciated and Inception is overrated IMO. I'm going to go hide from the internet now.
 
Batman Begins is a way better film than the Dark Knight. Heath was awesome but the movie was like an hour and a half too long.

The Dark Knight Rises
 
Batman Begins was easily the best movie in that entire trilogy so I guess I disagree with the list.

I'd probably put Prestige alongside it at the top.
