Raised in Bolingbrook, living in Romeoville now. Only head downtown for concerts, jury duty, and Navy Pier occasionally.
SheeeeetSmall world
I'm in Bloomington as well! Would you or any other BloNo gaffer's like to grab a drink sometime?!Holy crap! That's insane! I'm born and raised in Chebanse! Also went to EIU, but currently living in Bloomington, best decision I ever made!
Quad Cities represent.
I've been going to college and living mostly in Wisconsin the last five years, but I grew up in the northwest suburbs, Barrington.
Crazy to see how many people are from the Land of Lincoln
Hi friend, I can't imagine how frustrating it must be having to turn onto rt 59 every single day. You must have the patience of a saint.
Born in Dixon, moved to Aurora as a kid, going to school in Chicago now. I'll probably be in Rockford in a few years.
You go to ASH@WIT?
How old are you? I lived in Dixon through college.
Grew up in the west suburbs. Went to Fenwick for two months, hated it, went to Hinsdale Central, then my parents sent me to boarding school in Pennsylvania and I never took up residency in Illinois again after the age of 16.
Extreme temperature changes will do that. Water turns to ice turns to cracks turns to potholes, and that's not to mention the damage salt can do.
I'm noticing all the cars are rusted to fuck too. Worried about mine now lol
I grew up/went to school in Mattoon through HS
Country cruised a lot - check
Broke into Ashmore Estates on acid - check
OG Burger Kang - check
Shot a deer - check
Charleston is cool too, we used to 'cruise the strip' between the HS and McDs on Lincoln. The spillway is a sweet spot to fish.
I miss it sometimes, I could reeeeally go for a horseshoe right about now. (Or some Casey's pizza)
Live close to Gurnee here
Go to DePaul for school
Lived in Chicago (Lincoln Park), Glenview, Northbrook, Niles, Grayslake, Gurnee, Antioch, Waukegan, Evanston and Winnetka. Recently moved back to Gurnee.
GO CUBS.
yooooo, grew up right next to Vernon Hills in Libertyville. Good area.

Born and raised in California (lived in Norcal and Socal), moved to northern Illinois in 2012. Now I'm living in Waukegan and working in Vernon Hills.

Born and raised in Gurnee/Waukegan
Been living in antioch the last few years
Work in Barrington at Heinen's
Lake county here.
Live in Lindenhurst, work as a cashier in gurnee part time.
Gurnee area.
This is everything that's wrong with pizza in IL. Shitty cardboard cut into a million pieces. Who wants that tiny triangle in the corner or center pieces with no crust at all? (If you want to even call it a proper crust.) Banished to the western suburbs of Chicago over 20 years ago, I pleaded and begged for a real NY slice...and the gods were merciful:
Shore Louie's
That's the Melee weekly in Aurora right? I haven't gone there, and I've mostly stepped back from competitive Melee to play more Wii U since Wavedash Wednesday stopped.Born in Dixon, moved to Aurora as a kid, going to school in Chicago now. I'll probably be in Rockford in a few years.

Am I seriously the first one checking in from Aurora? I mean its the second largest city in the state. This is surprising. Either way, Kane County all day, every day!
Oak Park, for about another year and a half at least.
Hello Illinoisy folks!
I was born in Joliet, raised in Shorewood, spent my early days in Joliet and Shorewood and Minooka and Plainfield, lived in Aurora and now Oswego, and have worked in nearly all of the above as well as St. Charles.
Basically I've spent most of my life living on or very near the Route 59 corridor among those towns.
Come visit the makerspace at the Aurora Public Library's Santori building and say hello some time; I'm Ryan. It'd be pretty cool to meet another gaffer in person.

Well hey! Most of my time in Geneva is just driving through, but I'm a big fan of the Fox River Distilling Company. Wife and I went on a "Geneva Day" with a few localish folks a year or so ago and checked out the museum, library, distillery, y'know the usuals. Nice place!Right by me. Geneva
