I think a new hairstyle and clothing style will do it for you. If you want to workout to gain a little muscle it probably wouldn't be a bad thing either, but no need to go trying to bulk up and gain weight.

One zit =/= Dermatologist
Pale skin due to being indoors+bad lighting =/= GET SOME SUN YOU PALE FUCK

But hey dude, GAF thinks Megan Fox is ugly, so you were doomed from the start.

If you want to gain weight then start reading up on what diet you need to build up mass (protein shakes, whole milk, raw eggs, eating 6 times a day, etc) it takes a long time but you need to be patient. If your facial hair grows patchy then dont worry about it, itll just look worse. Getting bigger is not about lifting weights, its about getting your body bigger trough the right diet, then turning the fat into muscle.

If you want your dresscode to make you look older ... it takes time to find a personal style, but I find Banana Republic is the place where I like to shop at the most, if it helps.

Attire certainly can do wonders. People say you don't have to spend a lot on clothes to look great. I say not entirely true. While yes you can find equivalent clothes for less, it's a lot of work looking, and you 've got to be naturally imgainative and creative. Also going for popular brand names is something that can be avoided. I personally love British tailoring. And for reasonable prices I can get great quality shirts trousers, tie's. But what I call reasonable most people call silly. I'll give an example.

It's better to buy natural materials. 100% wools, cottons etc. Secondly A hugo Boss shirt will cost around £90, you could get a far better shirt from Thomas Pink for £50-£60. Or try TM lewin, and on a sale for as little as £20. And this is a company who has been making shirts for something silly like 100 years. And quality is as good or even better than most designers.

Point being, do research and plenty of it, and when it comes to looking older, don't settlle on trends and fashion, go for classics. They last, and look mature.

Sure, I dont disagree. Fashion is important but it takes a while for people to find their own personal style. I didnt find mine till I was about 23 and that was after I did my homework.

One thing though, shoes are always important. More than pants, even.

It seems GAF is just a bunch of models with 8 inch penises.

No shit. There are a bunch of assholes in this thread and I would LOVE to see pictures so I could laugh my ass off at them.

On a side note. Give that hair a cut, try to grow some burns, and hit the gym. Oh, and when you are 45 and you look 36 and everyone else in your age group looks 50 you get your revenge.

Damn, shoulda went to the gathering of Juggalos could of got some sun and met some fantastic people who would accept a 20 year old in a 14 year olds body. Add a little face paint and your set!

I really don't think that's the way aging works.

Nah, if you post your pic on the internet you are asking for it. Especially here.

Thats like saying if you are mean on the internet you deserve to be smashed in real life... Thee is nothing funny about his pic in first place...there are times for a laugh, but most of the stuff in this thread is lame ubbish...

I agree but thats the nature of the internet. If you aren't prepared for that reality you're better off not posting.

Sure it is!
No, it doesn't.
There's looking young and there's looking underdeveloped. If this guy doesn't get off his butt, eat healthy and get to the gym, he's going to age far worse than someone that doesn't look 14 at 20.

Just because you go through puberty first, doesn't mean you're going to age faster. There's no connection.
If you want to know how you're going to age, look at these factors:

1. Your health both mental and physical. Do you sleep well? Do you get depressed? Do you work out? Do you eat healthy and get your vitamins? etc
2. Your vices and job - are they healthy vices or unhealthy? Do you work 12 hours a day? Work outside? Etc.
3. Your momma
4. Your papa
5. Your grandparents.

That's it.

I've heard other people complain about looking too young, but I haven't heard the advice of the Gaf Collective. Should I just stop worrying about it, and reap the rewards in a couple years, or should I do something about it?

Would cutting my hair make me look older? I kind of like my long hair, and while I have received compliments about it, I have also been mistaken for a girl on a couple of occasions. I've also started to lift weights, I'm not sure if that would make a difference either.

Here are pictures of serious Ian (that's me): (alot of times I wish the Rebel XT had an LCD viewfinder)

Edit: Oh, and facial hair has been REALLY slow to grow in. I can go about 3 days without shaving and nobody would notice.

Have sex with 12 year olds.

GAF needs to relax :lol

Dude just needs to put on some weight and get a hipper haircut.

Eat a lot. Hit the gym. Lift a lot.

I used to have a tiny pot belly and it used to annoy me. You may mentally think you're "fat" but that couldnt be further from the truth. You're thin and need to fill your body out. Offsetting the belly with muscle will make you look "right". Judging by the pictures you need to put a good 20-30 pounds on you at the very least.

You will not become a musclebound freak. That's ridiculously hard to do for anyone, but especially if you're thin. But you WILL start to look much better!

Check out the neogaf lifting thread. You're looking at 3-6months of hard work. If you're doing things right, you should be ready for a new wardrobe around this time.

Form fitting / tailored / or maybe a tiny bit looser. Get a couple pairs of cool sneakers, a couple nice shoes and keep em in good shape.

Neaten up the haircut, and get outside a bit to get some color in your skin if you can.

Hopefully you have a job and some income as none of this comes cheap, but you'll look and feel great if you put your heart into it.

I'm relatively thin still, but I HATED being skinny.

you're 20?...are you sure your not 14 trying to look 20? Cut your hair, get some mass on you, wait until you can grow some facial hair and you will be set.

Meh, I think you're ok the way you are. When you get older, you'll take comments like, 'you look younger than that' and being carded for beer as a compliment. Lots of women like baby faces and longer hair when it is curly. Based on the topic about style and looking at the general public, you can be assured most the people talking about how awesomely stylish they are don't know what the hell they are talking about or discovered one style and never changed it even when it went out 5 years ago. Guys with truck nuts confidently think they look pretty awesome too, so screw them. Just learn how clothes are supposed to fit on your body size/shape and you've elevated yourself above half the population.

If I had to be critical of one thing you're wearing, it would be the shirt because those are actually muscle shirts that you need to be able to fill out to look good in.

Get a haircut, get in some fights, fist some pussy. It'll be ok.

I don't want to speak for you, but I suggest changing the order of those suggestions so it doesn't sound like you're supporting the abuse of women. :D

This, what the fuck is wrong with some people? He has like one zit near his chin and people are saying "see a dermatologist?" SMH

Keira Knightley has acne problem. I've read she has asked directors to digitally remove them. Then again, she use to be hot in her yesteyears.

Anyway, I think everyone in this thread who has called the OP ugly should post a picture of themselves.

Damn you do look 14. Going to suck when you can drink legally, going to get carded every time. And they will probably think its a fake I.D. But when you are 30, you will look younger so I guess you have that going for you.

All he needs to do is cut his hair short like this:

shooter.jpg

-Workout

-Find some nice clothes

He then wouldn't look that bad.

P.S. Shooter was such an awesome movie. Bobby Lee Swagger is such a cool name.

Boy was I surprised to see my picture pop up in this thread. :lol

Heh, I guess it's a little late to ask if you'd mind, huh? Although after the DBZ thing this can't be much worse, right?

-Roll up your sleeves when wearing a T-Shirt. You look quite slender like myself, and it looks a lot better than having your arms just drop out of a Tee.

-Try stubble. It's awesome.

-New Haircut always works. People used to think I was a girl before I cut my hair, now people think I'm older than I currently am AND male! :)

-Change your style to reflect your age better maybe? Little experimentation never hurt nobody.

Also, don't listen to the clowns in the thread ridiculing you. You're hot stuff. (y) Just need that edge.

Ok back from work. Right now a tan is going to be a bit difficult since I have a computer programming job and I get home about 6:30. I'll work on it this weekend though.

Today I eat alot of food continuously, so I never really felt anything but full. To be honest I actually prefer feeling hungry to eating when I feel full.

I used some anti-frizz creme and some hair spray today, but it still poofed a bit so I'll have to use more. Just a stop-gap until I get my hair cut this weekend, but I think it still looked better.

As far as fashion, thanks whoever said that that type of shirt is meant to be tight. That is actually a Banana Republic shirt. At least 70% of my clothes are from Banana Republic, and I do have better shirts that I wear (wearing a green striped button-down shirt from GAP right now). I'll remember to stop wearing that particular shirt though.

I may still have a chance to get facial hair, because it's looking a little more consistent along my chin. I'm wondering if this lack of growth was due to taking Flonase for the past couple of years, but I've stopped since I don't have a problem with allergies anymore (go figure).

The more disconcerting element is that you appear to have the common sense of a gnat. Why would you post a picture of yourself on GAF?

Although I was a bit surprised to have people call me ugly, it doesn't upset me. Thanks for the support from the others, but something someone posts about me on the internet is not going to change how I look at myself. I don't consider myself unnattractive, although obviously I could look better (which is why I'm hear). I made this post expecting honesty, and I got it, so I have no problem with what anyone says.

Edit: New pic. I know most of the same complaints apply, just thought I'd share. I did a semi-smile so I don't look upset.

I'd change your hair style but still keep it somewhat long, I'm not sure if a drastically shorter style would suit you. Maybe change the color of your hair as well? It'd be a lot easier then tanning and it'd probably have similar results. You don't seem too skinny in that last picture you've posted but I've personally seen some pretty major changes facially when people put on a few more pounds, I guess it wouldn't hurt.

And lastly, if you want to make changes, do it for yourself, fuck what other people say.

Hey, I dig your hair like that. Although a shirt tucked into jeans rarely, if ever, looks good, you still pulled your whole look together well--much better than the original pics. Smiling also helps. In this photo you could pass for 17 or 18 easily.

EDIT: Listen to what hars0n says.

I will, just have to wait until this weekend.

That was the only thing she could think of since you can't really grow facial hair. She's partial to skinny guys though. The grizzled, scrawny, clint eastwood types to be specific. I've always been scrawny guy, but people usually think I'm older than I am. I've done enough bad things in my life that make me look like shit though!
