I'm a sandal-boy. What are some comfortable casual summer shoes?

Came here to post this. Was not disappointed.

I'd have more respect for a obese guy with pizza stains all over his ripped up sweats than anyone in crocs. Wearing crocs basically means "I've given up please don't speak to me unless you're serving me food".

Is this a widely held perception or a peculiarity of yourself? I wasn't aware of any great stigma attached to Crocs.

Just an over-exaggerated stereotype, thats all.

But honestly, this 'shoes in summer' thing does not compute with me, unless I'm at work or at the gym, so I cant really help you OP. I wear flip-flops about 9 months of the year.

Sperry's. I started wearing them around summer before sophomore year and never looked back, I always wear them now. They're just too comfortable and easy to wear.

I also know a guy that always wears sandals/flip-flops, including in the winter...

Another vote for sperry. I was a little apprehensive buying them as I tend to like wearing socks with closed toe shoes. The first couple days was a little weird/painful since they were breaking in and my feet weren't used to them. Now they are extremely comfortable and my feet are fine. I wouldn't recommend walking a marathon in them but for everyday use they work fine.

If you're worried about smell(mine never started to) get some gold bond powder.
