I just ask because whenever I see most women (most especially in the US) call themselves "Curvy", they seem to think that is because of being very much obese (ie. a very large "curve" around their waist).

I wholeheartedly agree (especially if your pictures are examples of such). Problem is when some women think those terms mean "I'm fat" (seriously, go to an online dating site and search for women with "curvy" or "full-figured" body types, it's not a pleasant sight )
