Im about to become homeless

I can relate. I'm suffering from most if not all of the things you mentioned in OP. Currently I 'm fortunate enough to have some income by collaborating with this synthwave musician I connected with on another message board, who pays me to do album covers and merch design. And a few more connections. All freelance, not full-time enough pay to support myself. I currently I have a place to stay as a roommate in an apartment, but it isn't definite and I could easily be homeless again.

See HC's posts on the first page.

I wasn't asking the OP though. The poster I quoted seemed to imply that because he is 27, he shouldn't stay with his family even for a little bit. A lot of americans have this weird stigma of living with family after 18, which is why I asked if it was based on pride or something actually legitimate.

I have two beautiful girlfriends,

Congrats, OP! I hadn't read this thread before, but I'm glad your situation has gotten better.

BUMP

Thought about making a thread of my own, but I think I'll bump this instead.

I'm going to be homeless as of tomorrow night and I've been thinking a lot about how I'll keep a healthy diet during that time. Currently I eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast every morning, but without a way to heat the water or kitchenware to mix it in, that's out of the question. What are some healthy cereals I can eat raw? Originally I thought Cheerio's might be good, but they seem pretty bad for you when you get down to brass tacks. Like, 576 mg of Sodium per 100 grams of cereal? Get the fuck out.

EDIT: Thanks for all the suggestions below! I should be good with what's been recommended.
Sorry to hear that. Shredded wheat.

Congratulations Hollycat. I only saw this thread when it got bumped but glad to see you get back on your feet.

And good luck Krammy.

He updated that he got a job and is doing well....

Read the fucking thread before coming in with the outrage.

*She, and having 2 girlfriends on top of that.

I'm glad I could provide all of you with a happy ending for once, I couldn't have gotten to this point without my loved ones and the advice and support of multiple GAF members. This community can truly do wonderful things, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

And your two girlfriends

One GF was enough to bankrupt me, 2 and I'd probably be in street as well.

Knew a guy who had to live a hotel for a month with his wife and two kids due to black mold in his house.

A multivitamin would a nice supplement to any breakfast cereal.

I am, thank you for asking. :)
I did end up actually being "homeless" for about 3 months, and slept on a friends couch.
I started working as a Lyft driver, but became horribly I'll after a huge mold problem in the home I was living in last year, and had to evacuate. The landlord demanded I continue ti pay rent even though the home could not be safely accessed, which led to me ultimately having to couch surf.

I found a job, and then a much better job, and have now recovered a lot healthwise, have a cheap apartment, and have even begun taking care of another person who was in a similar situation. I can honestly say I'm the happiest ive ever been.
I have two beautiful girlfriends, a nice job, a roof over my head, and my health is the best its been in years.

Thank you everyone for your support and concern. :)

Also, Krammy, I hope you get the help you need :)

I'm a polyamorous lesbian :P

I love a happy, sexy ending.

Know a girl with a disturbingly similar issue to your original one, right down to the family avoiding and all but abandoning her.

I regretted clicking this thread, but I am legit happy that you're happy right now.
