As many of you might have seen or heard of the housing situation in Hong Kong, with high rent, and lack of space.

Due to high rent in Hong Kong, And today, I'm moving into one of these, but ofcourse, my place is not as bad as it looked on the photos above, but it definitely feels small, good thing was, i had some time for me to fix it up a little bit before i move in, i painted the wall blue, and set up some lamps and lights around, now it is actually very liveable, for especially for one person anyway.

Its not fancy, but its cheap!

:D

70 square feet? Holy jesus. Next week, I'm moving into a place that's 900 sq ft, and I feel like it's barely going to be enough space.

Godspeed, gimz.

Living somewhere like that alone would cause a mental breakdown.

Living somewhere like this with others, would lead to murder. :P

I'd recommend digitizing all of your books and written materials and using all-in-one products exclusively. Also, loft everything. You should be fine hopefully.

70sq ft? wtf

A 70sq ft home would be cool if it was on a couple acres of land, but fuck a Hong Kong apartment complex. Good luck and I hope your situation improves quickly.

I'm impressed and horrified. Be kind of a fascinating experience to see how much you could cram in and make work (TV, microwave, boiler, etc.), though.

didn't know you guys would be interested in seeing the picture, lol but here are some pictures i took with my phone last night

as i said, mine is not as bad as the photos on my first post, im actually moving from a 2bedroom + living room space into this, the key is to not have too much junk in the room, make it knee and organize and things will work out! And i do have my own bathroom and toilet.

and actually, living in space like this is not new to me, when i used to live in Toronto, i used to live in shared house downtown with 15 rooms in a house, and my room was basically about the same size as mine now.

That's actually not too bad! It's about the same size as my room. The only inconvenience is the shared washroom/shower, however. I don't know if I could do that.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine an apartment that made the one Korben Dallas lived in look generous, honestly, that place looks like nightmare fuel to me.

I need more space than that just for my couch!

That's not as bad as I thought it would be.
