Most of the games we tried weren't really working but when I put him down with Skyrim he played it for hours. I own an Xbox One but still use my 360 so I brought it back with me. Depending on what you own, can't you just give him the 360 and your 360 controller and use the Backwards Compatibility in the 720 to 360 emulate?
 
For less than $80 shipped from Amazon you can send him a PSTV. Has a DualShock 3 (with dual analog sticks), and plays more modern games than you might think...
 
So he would be interested in a new gaming system. But can't afford one.

Send him one, or, Buy him one? I mean you shouldn't feel bad for taking back your gaming stuff. But if you really feel that bad then just buy him one. 360's and ps3's are really cheap these days.

I really don't know what else there is to say.
 
If he has a nice smartphone and TV then I think that he can afford a 360.

Craigslist is perfect for picking up an old system.

After reading the OP I'm really not sure how we're supposed to help. Are you looking for advice or money OP?
 
I think in USA you can find a used 360 for like 50$, so why not selling 1/2 games, and give him the money to buy a 360? Then you can give him Skyrim, the shipping won't be expensive.

I mean if he wanted a PS4 or a XO or even a gaming PC I'd understand why money is a problem, but to buy a 360... Come on, sell 1 or 2 things that you don't use and buy one, and if he's not ready to sell 1/2 things for it, it means he doesn't care about it so much.
 
At first I found this topic confusing, due to the lack of context. However with the few details that have been added by the OP and others (OP is 19 dating a 49 year old on SSI, has apparently posted other threads similar to this), I'm more concerned about the overall situation.

I hate responses like this.

OP posted that he's sad that he took his 360 away from his boyfriend. If he was so sad he could have fucking left it. OP reeks of trolling for someone to give his friend a 360. When rightfully jumped on for a nonsensical OP he comes back with a sob story about his boyfriend.

The responses he's getting are not even remotely unexpected given the nature of this thread.

He's 49 with no wealth, no real income, presumably no one who can support him other than you, can't even afford a X360 and with suicidal tendencies to boot... its going to be all down hill from here unless he can do something about it..

What you need to do is pay to repair his laptop and get him doing some online work, if his disability only affects his knees there are plenty of ways to generate a modest income from home just using your hands. He will be motivated to pay you back and also have a means to get money for both his games and well being.

Somebody help

I can't breathe

While we're asking, my wife lost her job last month, and two days later my PS4 and TV got taken out by lightning, despite being hooked into two (2) surge protectors. I would also like a new pair of boots.
 
Anyone have any 3DS games I could have? Don't need them to be new.Im not gonna ask for Wii U games, I don't need handouts.

Yeah, seriously. All this sounds really unhealthy honestly. I hope the best for you and your boyfriend OP, but maybe take a step back and think about the power / age dynamics in your relationship.
