I'm starting to get white hairs

Why the fuck would you dye your hair? It must be awful having no confidence to pull off grey hair.
Because I get to choose my color when I dye. Sometimes I'll rock the salt and pepper look for a while. Sometimes I'll turn them into slight brown highlights that go really well with my black hair.

I'm bald, but my beard has started to go grey. Almost everything directly under my chin is grey.

Pretty stoked for how it looks.

I'm blond, so, even if I have grey hairs I don't know it. I wish I had grey hairs, I think young and greying is crazy hot :(

I got wicked lucky in the hair category. At 39 its still very thick and full and maybe once a month I'll spot a rogue grey hair and that's it.

Add copper to your diet. It will definitely reverse it or at least minimize it.

Oh and OP, i'm balding so get over it.

I'm jelly OP. Is this a stealth braggin' thread?

You're on the initiation stage of awesome.

Given that you'll eventually attain a silver mane.

I noticed 2 white hairs in my beard last week and just shaved it all off.

Turning 29 in 5 days so i guess i shouldn't be that surprised?

I'm about half grey at 31. Take solace in the fact that you're a guy. It doesn't look nearly as good on women.

I started getting white hair before I could drive. But it's no big deal. Most of my white hair is around my temples, but I keep my hair short cropped.

I'm 23, with a decent amount of grey coming in now. Barbers usually make a comment and friends/family/coworkers notice when they get close. I'll need to start dying it in the next year or two I think

It's kind of weird but I'd rather have this than hair loss. And it's not as bad for dudes

None here (29) but I wouldn't really care if I had some grey hairs. My wife would be happy though, because then she wouldn't be the only one with them.

Same, they shine like a diamond if I grow it out enough. I dye every now and then, but I've started to cut it more frequently instead. I'm 25. Thanks Dad.

By the time I turned 18 I already had around 20-30 white hairs. You're lucky if anything, it's not as easy to tell with me though because I have super thick curly hair so they've often hidden. In any case there's nothing really wrong with white hair, can look nice or if you don't like it get your hair dyed. In any case don't worry so much about white hair marking you as old :D

I have a very long single grey hair on my right arm. I've had it since I was 19. (I'll be 28 in a few weeks.)

I've got a few gray hairs spread across my luscious head of hair. I'm 24 and I don't give a shit, as long as my hair is thick I don't care what colour it is. I think gray hair looks pretty good anyway.

I've had TONS of grey hair since I was 14 or so. There's nothing I can think of that could have provoked it. It doesn't particularly bother me, but I've gotten lots of "WOW, dude, you've got lots of grey hairs" ever since from friends/people I meet/etc. It's not like my hair is completely white or anything, more like a 5:1 ratio, nor do I think it makes me look bad, but I do find it curious.

I'm fine with going grey, or salt n pepper. Will probably be bald before I go completely grey any way, lol.

Don't dye it. Men with dyed hair - No, just no. It's one step away from a toupée.

I have a couple of those, but they aren't real "grey hairs", more like mutant ones so to speak. They are long, brittle and thin, as if they were poorly developed for some reason.

As long as your hairline stays put, who cares? I'd kill for a forehead of grey hair. Grow that shit out and sport the Sephiroth look.

Pretty sure most men start getting their first grey hairs in their 20s or 30s. If you are 35, I'm not sure what the big deal is. Look at all the people here who were in your shoes when they were still in high school.

I have had 3 grey hairs. One at like 19, and two last year. None of them ever grew back though. My dad started getting some noticeable salt and peppering in his late 30s, so that is probably my fate. As others have said, it's better than going bald.

This only works if you have a naturally lean and handsome face.

Looking stubbly and scruffy and old with hair like that doesn't work.

I'm not a sliver fox by any means and they are few and far between but i see them. I see them.
They are there and they are fucking white. I'm not even 35 yet, but I might as well schedule an appointment with the grim reaper. I'm pretty sure in every zombie movie you kill the dude with the white hairs. I was carded recently, but I can't even get a haircut now without realizing that I'm the dude with the white hairs. Pretty soon I won't even be able to pass myself off as a guy in his 30s. I might as well apply for a scooter and medicare. I used to be 18. It wasn't that long ago, oh god, it was really that long ago? Okay, okay, at least I'm not balding.

Should I just shave my head and or just try to play it off? I'm really freaking out. I'm not old I swear.

Don't worry about it. I'm only 31 and I'm going Rogue in the front. Work stress, shitty sleep, whatever. It happens. Dye it if you feel self-concious, but you can always just take solace in the fact that many of us who are younger are getting silver too. No big deal. At least you're a guy. Seems to look better on gents (IMO) or is more accepted at any rate.
