I'm uninstalling all* the games off my PC.

One of the reasons I love having a 256gb SSD, I keep Wow, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the storm installed always. And never have more then 3-5 other games installed at any one time.

HDD is for movies and music.

I got a 4 TB HDD that's nearly full of Steam games (less than 50 gb free). That's even considering my policy of not installing sequels of stuff I haven't beat yet.

Shit is crazy.

I have a Multiplayer and local Multiplayer category - games there are always installed. I have a classic/masterpieces and an arcades category where games are mostly installed. I have a 'still to play' category where games are mostly not installed.
And I have a 'Don't touch ever again' category, where games are never installed.

I don't try to force myself to only have a limited number of games installed. I just uninstall the ones, I lost interest in and try to buy more conscious.

Having grown up in the 80's where one often didn't have many games I still love having so many games to choose from. I play the game I want when I want to play it. Sometimes that means sticking to one game and sometimes that means jumping from game to game.
Variety is the spice of life! :)

I'm sitting here buying games left and right and I haven't even played 90% of my Steam library. Enough is enough. Having a very large HDD, I have never wanted for HDD space and have always just downloaded and installed ALL the games I own a license to. I have found that this instant access to all my games has prevented me from being able to focus on individual games. My ADD kicks in and I end up switching from game to game OR I get overwhelmed by all my choices and just watch a movie instead. So I'm going through the process of uninstalling over a TB of installed games. Leaving only the ones I'm currently playing and a couple I play every so often just to let off steam (Fallout 3/NV). Any time in the future if I want to play a game that isn't already installed I will have to wait for it to download and install and configure. I'm hoping this hurdle makes me think twice about wanting to play a game for two minutes before getting bored or ADD'd out.

What drastic measures have you taken to force yourself to face your backlog? I hope this helps cuz I want to enjoy my collection more than I have been. :[
I haven't taken any drastic measures, but I do understand what you're going through. It is quite overwhelming at times.

In Steam, I do have a 'Now Playing' list, though. Keeps me reasonably focused on a few select games at any given time. I'm still regularly tempted by the urge to play some other game, but you've just gotta ignore it as much as possible. If you have ADD, I imagine its quite tough, though.

Play the games you want to play, until you finish them or don't want to keep playing them anymore.

Buy games when you want to play them.

Probably for the best if you really really want to complete your games.

I'm quite enjoying my time hopping from game to game though, although I think it's a really bad habit and it's been getting worse, but I'm having fun so that's all it matters.

As i have fiber i just download whatever game I want to play at the time. So really only have to wait about 15 minutes most of the time. I do have a big backlog on PC to play though that I should try and getting around to making smaller.

Yesterday I cannot choose between playing Xenoblade or Wolfenstein or Planescape:Torment or the Witcher. Those game are ready to play on my PC but I cannot pick one.

End up I went to sleep and played nothing.

This happens more times to me than I'd like to admit.
