The concept art released when filming first started made it look like they're going full on sci-fi craziness with this one. Really can't wait to see what the walkers look like. When the first one released, my dream for a sequel always involved massive ground combat. Hopefully we get that here.

Seriously, I just rewatched it and I'm kinda amazed how much this doesn't look or feel like a sequel to Independence Day.

This feels like a sequel to Armageddon. Like, this is straight up a 1998 Michael Bay movie in 2015.
