Shame no Will Smith.
I'm not suggesting they were impossibly rare. There was often one stand out amongst the others, but the week-to-week structure wasn't there so much. This summer I felt like I was at the cinemas at the minimum twice a week or so. Very little breathing room for legs.
President, David, David's dad, Brent Spiner for some reason (Was that Will Smith's gf from the first one?)
They would need revenge!Any civilization with the technology to build that wouldn't need shit from earth.
Halo style orbital defense platforms looks like it would have really come in handy.
Honestly though, even with the biggest technology boom in human history, 20 years would not be enough time to adequately prepare for a second invasion. The Earth economy would just be devastated after 1996. All major cities destroyed, probably a quarter to half the planet's population died. Earth's best scientists and engineers probably could design new massive ships making up a 'home fleet' in Earth orbit, but with no possible chance of being able to fund it in time.
Pull out a history book kid!I can't access warof1996.com anymore. Says too many redirects?
He is actually a pretty good actor.
wow it actually looks good.
How has Judd Hirsch not aged a day since the first movie?
Whoever decided to use that goddamn speech, give that man a raise.
Seeing the ships enter the atmosphere gave me insta hype.
Well OK, I can't argue this. There are more summer movies on a week per week basis than there was in the past, that is definitely true. But big budget summer movies have always been a thing, going all the way back to Jaws.
How do you do an ID4 sequel trailer and not have a single shot of some national monument being blown the fuck up.
Fail.
Looks alright.
Now give me an Armageddon sequel.
While test piloting the ESO's first alien hybrid fighter, an unknown malfunction caused the untimely death of Col. Hiller.
LmfaoWhat Hiller has been up to according to warof1996.com:
So they can kill him again.I hope they brought back Harry Connick Jr. as Jimmy's identical twin.

The most important part is Jeff though. He's amazing.

There have been a couple of articles/news stories around After Earth "breaking" Will Smith, but considering most of the criticisms with that film were around Jaden, I don't understand why he took After Earth's failure as a problem with his own career vs Jaden not being a good actor/needing improvement.
The Quaid from ID1 was a clone, the original is still alive on the aliens' super mothershipQuaid was killed in the first movie.
Isn't this going to be like a two part movie? If so, Will Smith gonna save the day in the last movie.
This IS the Armageddon sequel.
Any civilization with the technology to build that wouldn't need shit from earth.
Yes they're planning another one after this one.
But Will was killed between movies.
He's coming back as a cyborgWhy do you think I'm not excited for this? There's not much more that brings my piss to a boil like the cinematic vomit that is Forrest Gump, but Armageddon manages it.
Jesus Christ, did they have to have Will Smith's character die such a pitiful death?
