Infamous demo sharing topic

my internet is fucking slow today, so it will take some time to answer all requests but rest ashured that i will be here, and i'll announce my departure to dreamyland before leaving.

So, I'm back from sleep and work, but someone has changed my PW and DOB, can't reset it this time. If you PM'd me and I didn't get back to you, sorry. Unless the dickhead wants to PM me with the correct details I can't help anyone any more. Sorry. What a fucking shitty thing to wake up to.

Again, what have you gained form the experience, arsehole? All I had on the account was 2 demos. :lol

I think there's still 1 or 2 people with working accounts though, thanks very much to Loudninja, carpediemdp, MvmntInGrn, and anyone else who has shared the demo.

Same with me man woke up to the same shit,and what did they get out of it? a single damn demo.

Both of you need to compare the usernames that PMed you and see if you find a duplicate. That will likely be the guy that locked everyone out.

Yeah, only problem with that is I got about 600 PM's, and I've deleted most of them :(

Someone stole the account? You'd have to be a huge asshole to do that. I was so paranoid about the login getting into the wrong hands, someone on my friends list messaged me asking if I had the login info from the thread when he saw me playing and I just ignored him and logged out of PSN. lol

That sucks man. Really stupid people out there. I was gonna PM you that your info didn't work, but then I was able to get it from someone else anyway. I assumed maybe your account had reached it's limit, but now I see that there is an asshole/assholes screwing things up. Typical internet.
 
All that would never happen if the protection system wasn't a joke : you should be asked an hidden info (entered once and for all during registration) every time you want to change the account's e-mail or password.

To be fair, we're not using the system as intended. The idea is that if you have access to the account then you know the current password, and therefore should be allowed to change it. We're screwing that up by giving out passwords to the world.
 
Feels great to be back...don't know if you got my PSN PM Loudninja, but I would also LOVE to try the demo out as well.
