I don't remember if it's the same as it was in Injustice 1, but Catwoman's standard grab (at about 25 seconds in) kinda reminds me of Felicia's command grab in Darkstalkers.

I'm going to choose to believe that was intentional even though it most assuredly isn't.

Just because faces are scanned does not mean the company does not need to do work to make it fit, it's only just a tool to help make a character's face. And a lot of times they come out looking with quite a bit of differences. Like Mass Effect tried to use Yvonne Strahovski and Jessica Chobot but their facial structure looks strange compared to the real women. The Yakuza games are an example of face scanned models that look much better, they actually look well and match the people they are based off of.
