Injustice 2 - Robin Gameplay Trailer

Robin just sort of feels like a wasted slot to me. I'm not crazy about his inclusion, especially the Damien Wayne version (the only Batman character I actively dislike).

Also Kevin Conroy seems to have gotten really bad at delivering his lines.

Damian killed Dick? Is that just Injustice continuity?

Tell me this is something Frank Miller wrote

That was written by Grant Morrison.

These games play like what I wish MK did. Give me a DKR bats and chris reeve supes

Totally forgot about netcode. Won't be touching this with a 10-foot pole until I hear from actual players

On the bright side, this gives us the chance to kick Damien's ass. His inclusion is almost worth it just for that ;)

i was debating if i wanted to reply in this thread again lol

the gif is so great because its like so unnecessary. like when someone fucks something up and then tries to hide it with something "cool" or "distracting" and then tries to slink away like "you didn't see nothing" lol

In the injustice comic Damian threw a stick thingy (baton?) At night wing because he was angry at him and night wing got hit and fell on a perfectly placed rock that broke his neck.

It is one of the funniest comic book deaths ever (in a bad way) lol

He is the image: ugh not working on phone

Not the best wring lol

Oh so it's just an Injustice thing and not related to the main comic line then. Ok I can get that; I give Neatherrealm credit for trying to craft their own take on the D.C. universe I suppose, but yeah that writing sounds bad lol.

Dick landing on the rock and dying is laughably bad, I agree, but the rest of the comic is actually quite good. Comixology have them on sale for only a few days if you want to read them.

I dunno I like it. It reminds us that Batman & Co are in the end simply normal humans who are susceptible to very shitty ungraceful fatal mistakes. They aren't super-humans or cosmic entities. Darkseid dying in such a fashion would be very shitty writting.

Might do that actually, thanks for the suggestion.

I really wanna like this game but I feel like I'll buy it, play it for 3 weeks and never touch it again.

The Injustice continuity is about the DC Universe going to shit in the worst way (I mean it's really entertaining, just expect a lot of people to die depressingly and everything to go way fucking wrong)

I really recommend the comic. Its not without its low points (Year 4 is just dull as hell) but its high points are shockingly good.

The Injustice comic is split into Years. If you only want a couple, then Year 1 and Year 2 are an absolute must. Year 3 is good and Year 4 is meh but if you want to get a taste of it then you can't go wrong with Year 1 and 2.

Hey, question about this game for you fighting experts. Is this a fighting game with easy to access controls? As in the moves, do they require a lot of input and memorization or is it the simpler style of fighting game?

This looks interesting to me, but I've not been able to get into fighting games since I was a kid due to the long list of moves and their complexity.

I play hardly any fighting games, so essentially I'm the furthest thing from a "fighting expert" as they come...but for what it's worth I found the original game really easy to pick up and play. The advanced moves aren't particularly hard to pull off either.

Just my two cents!

Where does one catch up with all of injustice, is it just a comic, is it a story on going since the first game? Did they ever make a DC animation out of it?

For those that don't like the mask, the gear system 1000% guarantees that there'll be other masks to choose from, as evidenced here:

Ok that's much better. The suit is still just passable though, even if he fairs better than most characters that aren't supposed to have an armored look.

I think it would have been kind of cooler if they used young Damian and took advantage of his smaller size, but I realize the timeline doesn't really allow for that..

Anyone else find it annoying how long Bruce is holding it against him? It was obviously a dumb mistake and he wasn't trying to kill him. I mean it totally makes sense for him to react that way at first, but he should have come around after a little time to cool down even if he still held that grudge in the back of his mind. I haven't read any of the later Injustice comics so maybe that's the case and I missed it.

Bummer bro, I checked out comixology but it seems the sale has ended as there doesn't seem to be an Injustice discount right now, just an Infinite Crisis sale. Ill keep an eye out though as I would like to give em a read, I actually enjoy story modes in fighting games and I want to understand what's happening when I play Injustice 2 lol. I've beaten the first game though, does that story mode overlap with the comics at all?

Ah shit, that's a shame. I knew the sale ended sometime soon but I didn't realize it had already ended.

The start of the comics to the start of GAU is five years and the last book, Year 5, is said to lead straight into the game. Year 5 volume 1 is out now but Year 5 volume 2 isn't out till next month.
